Obama declared his Presidency after two years and nevers votes on any controversial or politically sensitive issues because he doesn't want to take a chance he may have to explain his decisions. Because the work he did improving intercity conditions in Chicago (prior to getting his Harvard law degree-no biggy), was easypeasy right? He just made it a point to say that it makes no sense to ask the front runner to take the second place job. And furthermore, a VP has to be "ready on day one" to take over the office if something should happen to the President. He's using her invitation to join her on the ticket against her "he's not ready" argument. It's brilliant and leaves the door open to a VP position (which I doubt he would take as opposed to running again in 2012) if he should ,God forbid, lose the nomination.

If you read the article, it is pretty fair. Slightly critical of his lack of experience, sure, but even more critical of the political system makes that allows that to work as an advantage in the presidential race. The article is not saying that lack of experience will make him a bad president. And actually, it's pretty complimentary of his performance on the ethics committee, and his ability to work well with others. I'd say it ends on a hopeful note… Go obama!

Obama has done nothing while in the Senate. He has not called one meeting on the Afghanistan oversight committee since being the chairman. His co-chairman, John Kerry, has also done absolutely nothing. No wonder they support each other. The reason for this is that he was too busy promoting his book and running for president. McCain is a true American hero. He spent 5 and a half years in a Vietnam POW camp and declined an early release unless his fellow POWs were released as well. He can't even comb his own hair because of injuries that he sustained while his bones were broken and re-broken. The commander and chief roll is a military role. He has had a long political career that actually involved change. Hillary will know how to fix the economy, will be very active with health care and social issues. Her specific positions on issues is much clearer and more realistic than Obama. Take your A.D.D. meds. Do you not remember that the economy was rocking under Bill. Not only did he cut government spending, we actually had extra money to spare! Hillary would carry the torch.
What does Obama know about self-sacrifice and duty to ones country when his choices are only to service himself. Change… Change what? ALL the Democrats know the reality is that we are going to be in Iraq (we can't change the past) for a while, and your going to squander your vote on someone who will clearly never be able to deliver on the the only issue he is outspoken on and who delivers a message to you only to turn around and tell another country (Canada) that his words are only campaign rhetoric!
