Pereziti, THANK YOU for posting this. I am proud to claim my place in my family as third generation gay, but first generation as identifying as out gay. When I think about how much as changed in my 45 years and how hugely different it must have been for my grandfather's gay cousin who I had the pleasure of knowing at the end of his life, I am so thankful to have made the choice to be out; truly there is no other way to live life. It's the scariest and most liberating act a young gay person can engage in and the more secure we make their world the more secure they will make ours.

I posted the video clip on myspace and it's already getting others to post it aswell…. yay!!! It is time that we do thing now about it. To bad that there wasn't help for me when I was going to school. I feel for any child that is being teased or tormented by others. I had that happen to me everyday that I went to school. It was so bad that I ended up missing helf of the school year. The kids would make fun of me for being poor and not having the latest clothes. I couldn't help that my mother was a signal mom and had 7 kids to take care of. I even tried to commit suicide to stop the pain that I was feeling from the kids at school. It didn't work obviously and I'm happy with my life now. I have two kids and a wonderful husband and I try to teach my kids to have compassion for others, and to be a friend not a click. I want to change the way kids teach eachother and I can only start with mine.

Uh, if anyone wants this madness to be stopped, you need to tell the gays before anyone. It's a great message but it rarely works. The majority of people who do discriminate believe what they are doing is right, and no matter what we say will stop it in most cases. However, it's definitely important to stand up either way, because even if there are 10 people discriminating, atleast the person being discriminated knows that there is at least one person on his/her side. His death is sad though and I wish these things could be stopped and didn't happen. It's so pointless and I wish people would spread their horizons. I know that was a long reply =/
