Tucker Carlson may be out of a job!
MSNBC is about to fire the newsman, according to media industry insiders.
The lone conservative commentator at the cable news channel apparently "doesn't fit in" at the increasingly left-leaning outfit.
Tucker has been working without a contract at the network since the end of 2006, when it was rumored he'd be axed. "He supposedly took a substantial pay cut to save his job," says a source.
Hey, he could always replace Katie Couric on the CBS evening news. Anyone would do a better job than her in the ratings!

Tucker Carlson wasn't fired because he's conservative. He got fired because no one watched his show. Listening to Carlson interview guests was like listening to the class wise-ass back in school. His questions never pertained to anything other than what Carlson thought could be really annoying.

yes, tucker the show is cancelled. no, tucker the person is not . . .fired. in television, the talent work under contracts that are usually honored. tucker will remain with msnbc through the political season. instead of having a show he will be an on-air contributer. must be a slow day in the gossip world.
