Tucker Carlson may be out of a job!
MSNBC is about to fire the newsman, according to media industry insiders.
The lone conservative commentator at the cable news channel apparently "doesn't fit in" at the increasingly left-leaning outfit.
Tucker has been working without a contract at the network since the end of 2006, when it was rumored he'd be axed. "He supposedly took a substantial pay cut to save his job," says a source.
Hey, he could always replace Katie Couric on the CBS evening news. Anyone would do a better job than her in the ratings!

Tucker Carlson wasn't fired because he's conservative. He got fired because no one watched his show. Listening to Carlson interview guests was like listening to the class wise-ass back in school. His questions never pertained to anything other than what Carlson thought could be really annoying.

I watch MSNBC all the time. It's my favorite news channel, and even though I consider myself to be more liberal-leaning, I think that channel has some of the most fair-minded conservatives on tv right now. Both Joe S. and Tucker Carlson do a great job! As a matter of fact, I just saw Tucker ream out a newsjournalist from the UK yesterday, and it was some seriously entertaining television! (lol) Give the guy a break! His show is great! All of the shows on that channel are!

Even as liberal of a Dem as I am, I still enjoy Tucker. I really like Scarborough too, and occasionaly even find myself agreeing with Pat Buchanan, who is also on MSNBC regularly. I'm comfortable enough with my beliefs to appreciate both sides of an argument. Besides, Tucker's never claimed to be a conservative. He reminds us of his Libertarian status on a regular basis.
And for the record, Perez, he hasn't worn a bowtie in almost a year. You could have at least gotten a less douchey picture of him. Even he realized he looked like an a-hole.

There is a gay republican in my office who cringes whenever a gay person speaks up for himself. He said it was better when the public never saw or new much about the gay lifestyle because it was closeted and kept away from mainstream America.
Tucker isn't really a conservative. He's more of a libertarian. He's a nice guy and it's sad to see him go. Since MSNBC doesn't have any conservatives, I hope they replace Tucker with a conservative to bring some kind of balance to that one sided network.

I watch cable news all the time, and MSNBC is my first choice…followed by CNN and then Fox News. I actually like Tucker, although sometimes his interviewing tactics annoy me. Although I like MSNBC, it is by no means unbiased. Chris Matthews does nothing to hide his utter hatred and scorn for the Clintons…he might as well come out and endorse Obama. Olberman, while extremely entertaining, is blatantly left-leaning and anti-Bush. Tucker was actually one of the more independent thinkers on the network (along with Joe S). As much as I dislike some of the personalities on Fox News, it's coverage of this campaign has been less biased than MSNBC at times. That said, MSNBC is still my favorite.
