  7. Adam says – reply to this

As much as I like radiohead they're just as overrated as kiss and Trent is a has a been as much as britney even though he helps Maynard and Manson

  8. goatlike says – reply to this

first…lolapalooza is for genxers isn't it… ask grampa farrell.

  9. Molly says – reply to this

Thom Yorke has more talent in his lazy eye than you do in your entire elephantine body.

  10. Sam says – reply to this

Perez, GO FUCK YOURSELF. They're incredibly relevant and talented bands, and just because your fat ass isn't credible enough to score a press pass… don't shit on people with actual talent.

Why don't you go look some more "indie" bands up on Wikipedia? Jackass.

  11. sillyidiot says – reply to this

Who the eff do you think is going to Lollapalooza? Aged hipsters, moron. Don't the 22 yr. olds go to Avril concerts? Oh wait…noone's going to those…lol…

  12. vix says – reply to this

    shut up, both bands rlz

  13. adhjk says – reply to this

    hahaha.. ?

  14. Vanessa says – reply to this

Perez.. your such a fucking douche bag.

You don't know anything about music.

  15. Sophie says – reply to this

Perez, I'm sorry I gotta disagree with you here. Radiohead's new cd is pretty damn good and they put on a great show!

  16. andi says – reply to this

two of the best bands ever. perez, your music taste is shit.

  17. glib says – reply to this

for someone who is attempting to be a music mogul, I would expect you to understand that Radiohead is still the most creative "major" band in existence.

  18. Fidel Castro says – reply to this

Mario, How do I say this delicately ….. Man you're a lard assed homo

  19. Jen says – reply to this

Both bands are still great and share many fans. For some of us, this is a dream ticket!

  20. jojo says – reply to this

    Nine Inch Nails…yeah that's random.

But RADIOHEAD? You think they're "10 Years Ago"?

Right, Perez. Radiohead are so irrelevant compared to all those utterly disposable acts that you shill for every single day…

Is there any way to "delicately" address what a douche you are?

    Didn't think so.

  21. Radiohead rules!! says – reply to this

    Radiohead will always be great

  22. Nikki says – reply to this

Right…and 'Smell Yo Dick' is sooooooooooo much better??????????????????

  23. Emmaloo says – reply to this

Shut up you fat asshhole!!! You don't know what good music is, this will be an awesome concert dumbass.

  24. kris says – reply to this

both are amazing; their new albums are innovative and influential. anyone else headlining would be a crime.

  25. jasmine says – reply to this

    boo on you
trent is still a very ative artist
id love to see nin perform

  26. gavinguy23 says – reply to this

  27. Josh says – reply to this

This coming from a guy who's lineup includes Robyn (who?) and some chick who sings a song called "smell yo dick"…

  28. elizabeth says – reply to this

    …no, still great

  29. YES! says – reply to this

are you seriously dissing both of these bands?? perez….come on now. get it together.

  30. Liz says – reply to this

    Too bad Radiohead is awesome
And you're just a dumb fuck.

  32. pantsheart says – reply to this

perez, you dont know what you're talking about.

  33. daisy says – reply to this

shut the fuck up perez you don't know shit about music, you like janet jackson and kylie minogue

  34. pH_99 says – reply to this

Radiohead is bigger than jesus and the beatles. This concert will be huge.

Jesus and the beatles will be selling hot dogs there.

  35. ROBIN MATHIS says – reply to this

  36. John Smith says – reply to this

Wow, you have proven yourself to be a talentless prick who has no ability to respect talent. Nine inch nails is still going strong, and Radio head has made millions of dollars off of its new album (which was sold online for free or at a fan's price of choosing) simply due to the fact that they have such a huge broadreaching fanbase. Go back to your lesbian gangbang with hillary.

  37. jon says – reply to this

wow, perez. radiohead are as relevant as ever.

  38. i agree NOT says – reply to this

radiohead may be over but nine inch nails is better than ever and trent puts on the best show i've ever seen.. and i've seen the likes of madonna and michael

  39. russ says – reply to this

Fuck that shit, they'll both be amazing.

  40. me says – reply to this

i l'd ol for this one! haha!

  41. lauren says – reply to this

:x ah you must be crazy, radiohead is amazing!

  42. heather says – reply to this

Oh really? Tons of people still love them… including me.

  43. blab blah says – reply to this

yeah perez dude, two bands that released their albums online w/TONS of support, downloads, and excitement from fans. you really have no idea what good music is, maybe if jewel and whatever pop crap you're pimping were headlining you'd be excited?

  44. seriously says – reply to this

no! not ten years ago! they both fucking rock. i dont WANT to say you suck for saying this, but, i cant help but think it, if only a little bit..

  45. brian says – reply to this

ur taste in music is shit, radiohead owns your life

  46. Samantha says – reply to this

Um. Radiohead are very NOW. Nine Inch Nails, not as much but Radiohead is quite the headliner. So shut it b/c you just don't know.

    Love you.

  47. tor says – reply to this

wow..perez..you did NOT just go there.
dissing radiohead like that is jsut something you DONT do.

  48. CONTINUAL LIFE SUPPORT says – reply to this

Sounds like a perfect line-up for a music venue that has been trying to die for the past decade…

  49. amanda says – reply to this

last years line up was so much better.

  50. nicole says – reply to this

eff you! this is a great lineup anytime!!!

  51. love them! says – reply to this

10 years ago??These bands will never get old!

  52. bored says – reply to this

I still like radiohead. I only like maybe one or two nin songs.

  53. Jamie~James says – reply to this

Why not now? Radiohead just had an album come out and NIN is still touring today? I think it's the most exciting show I've heard of all year!

  54. LOB says – reply to this

Perez…do you even know what Lollapalooza is about and what the festival stands for? This is about real music, not about that Europop crap you try to push on your readers. Furthermore, Radiohead is the MOST genius modern rock band. They rocked 10 years ago when I saw them at Tibetan Freedom concert, they rocked last year when I saw them at Bonnaroo, and they're going to rock even more when I see them on May 11th. And might I add…Chicago, here I come.

  55. brittany says – reply to this

Perez, you're wrong. Radiohead continues to make beautiful music. Fuck off.

  56. Bleecker says – reply to this

Radiohead is still current and still producing amazing music.

As for NIN, I was never into them, but I know a lot of people are and who would literally die at the chance to see Trent Renzor perform live.

  57. Pris says – reply to this

just because they're older bands doesn't mean they suck, perez. i'm sure some of your "discoveries" will also be along for the ride…

  58. ali says – reply to this

    They fukin rock!

  59. mh says – reply to this

you're insane. radiohead still contributes fantastic music. your taste just doesn't jive with it!

  60. Rob says – reply to this

This show is going to be great! I hope I can stay up for it though.

  61. Alyce Harlequin says – reply to this

    NIN and Radiohead
    is a very now lineup.
    it wouldn't have made sense
10 years ago - so shut up Perez.

  62. meagan says – reply to this

What are you talking about? This is amazing now and ten years ago!

  63. THe Boss of YOU says – reply to this

NO THEYRE NOT ASSHOLE> Look it up on the website

  64. LaLaLand says – reply to this

I'd say it's awesome now…it's called ingenuity and both bands have it in spades. Just because most bands you champion for *see Mika* are a novelty and have no real talent doesn't mean you have to dog on veterans who still have relevance. Have you even heard the new albums?

  65. volta says – reply to this

this is amazing news. two of my very favorite bands. now if only the flaming lips and wilco join, i'd be content to die. by the way, radiohead is making some of the most vital music of their entire career and sweeping accolades left and right from those half their age. i've been a fan since 1993, and i can tell ya, they're hitting their stride.

  66. walmart and jesus are not my leaders... says – reply to this

whatever. music is so bad, right now…it's like we are living 10 years ago…what the fuck else is good out there? super-christ-i-suck-corp-cock-jonas-brothers?
motherfucker, please. i'll take quality anywhere i can get it–even if i have to invent a time machine…

  67. em says – reply to this

    that is just ridiculous!
good music and people playing it will always stand the test of time!

  68. Calisto says – reply to this

They have that rare thing called talent, unlike Rihanna and Kanye West; whom you apper to think do but I can assure you don't and won't be around in 10 years.

  69. raquel says – reply to this

WOAH, these bands both still got it!
infinitely more than 99% of the mainstream pop shit.
    seriously. can you not hear???

  70. lindsaykcarey says – reply to this

wow, I am usually against comments, but are you kidding me? wow. radiohead is so relevant

  71. lolita says – reply to this

go listen to asslee simpson….what do you know about music??

  72. liza minelli says – reply to this

Are you kidding!!!! Radiohead and nine inch nails……brilliant!!!!!! Can not wait.

  73. ralph says – reply to this

radiohead has done more than you could ever dream of, fuck bag, don't talk shit about them.

  74. EGiuberti says – reply to this

Geez !! I love this blog but this post is so miserable!!!! Radiohead and NIN are not relevant headliners????!!!!??? Specially Radiohead!!!!! Can you give better options?!?!

  75. sara says – reply to this

Shut up, radiohead is an amazing band and they just released an amazing album

  76. Dani says – reply to this

wow perez, bad taste this time! radiohead is great, 10 years ago and today!

  77. Kristen says – reply to this

You're stupid. Radiohead and NIN are timeless.

I can't wait to see Radiohead.

From what I can see everyone else thinking, you are wrong about this.

  78. ashley says – reply to this

Are you KIDDING, Perez?! What music act would you have HEADLINE Lollapalooza right now? Radiohead and NIN are true music veterans and anyone who gets to see them perform live is in for a real treat!

  79. EO says – reply to this

perez I never actually agreed with you on 1 thing to do with music but as of today. We're even.

THE FUCKING 90'S ARE WELL FUCKING OVER. Boring snorefests of festivals need to fucking stop.

  80. G Funk says – reply to this

This is why you shouldn't have you own label. You know dick about music in general.

  81. eva says – reply to this

    n.i.n = Yay (heart)

  82. DaDawg says – reply to this

no WAY Perez… people will love this line up! this rocks!

  83. audrey says – reply to this

your hair would've been great 15 years ago.

  84. The Love says – reply to this

They actually play instruments? That's so passe. I can't stand actual musical and artistic talent. They'll probably like die of heart attacks before the show becuase they're so old and irrelevant. I would never want to pay homage to bands that millions of people adore, respect, and admire. OMG! LOL! WTF!

  85. Matt says – reply to this

Perez, you're so wrong it's not even funny. And to think Warner Bros. is actually considering hiring you…MESSED UP!

  86. Rachel says – reply to this

WTF perez?! You're supposed to be mr music guru and you can't appreciate Radiohead, go back to your new corporate gig and leave other people's art alone.

  87. Mike says – reply to this

Radiohead is still on top of its game. In Rainbows was easily one of the best albums of last year. NIN is a little tired, but overall Reznor is a great performer.

And wasn't it you who was just drooling over the ancient Jewel earlier?

  88. naddi10 says – reply to this

I cannot wait to go see them in San Francisco!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!

  89. Shireen says – reply to this

    Are you kiddime me Perez??

  90. Dave says – reply to this

    Yo Perez, you're retarded!

THATS AMAZING! check your shit , how is it 10 years ago if both bans have new albums?

  91. YO YO says – reply to this

That. Is. Awesome… How can you say that would be good 10 years ago??? Radiohead just released the most notable album of the year.

  92. megan says – reply to this

This is still a great line-up, I have no idea wht you are talkiong about. If you pulled your head out of Robyn's ass you would realize this.

  93. radiohead says – reply to this

Perez we all herd you this morning on c-crest, trying to lose wieght it is understandable that you are grumpy now that you have to eat less, but honestly knocking on Radiohead you should really go fuc* your fat gay self.

  94. HI There! says – reply to this

Never went to a NIN concert….just liked scattered songs…Yawn.

  95. chicago says – reply to this

    You are clueless, Perez.

  96. PJ says – reply to this

Oh perez I ain't one to bash but Radiohead is better than any music you promote on this site. Some of it is ok, some of it is pop crap but don't go bashing radiohead

  97. kelly says – reply to this

yaaay!!! dont hate… not every one likes the new trendy shit out now!!! its worthless, and radio haed an nin kick ass!!

  98. Wolf_BOOB says – reply to this

    Re: Molly

Way to go! I couldn't agree more!

Mr. Perez, how can you diss Radiohead? Have you heard their latest album? It's fucking a-m-a-z-i-n-g!!! I couldn't say the same about those talentless folks you like to promote around here…I've seen Radiohead in concert a couple of years ago and I was stunned how beautiful Thom's voice is in a concert and how great the band performed. Get over yourself, dude.

  99. kj says – reply to this

i think the other comments sum up my perspective…looks like you should stick to celeb gossip and not try to discuss music…you really dont know shit.

  100. Roberto says – reply to this

and the beatles would have made for great headliners 50 years ago…but i'd still go see them headline lallopalooza
