We can barely stand to watch her over-emote "act." Now, Keira Knightley wants to sing too!
The British sourpuss is set to debut her vocal skills (or lack thereof) on the soundtrack to her new movie The Edge Of Love.
KK will perform three songs on the album, despite protestations from her that she isn't a good singer.
She says, "I can't really sing. I had to have a few lessons, but once I started doing it, a sound emerged that wasn't too disagreeable."
Ughh. We'd rather listen to Kirsten Dunst sing opera or Lindsay Lohan just attempt to sing live!

Years ago, the legendary opera coloratura Maria Callas starved herself by eating only salads to maintain her girlish figure as she matured toward middle age. She ended up, among other damage, ruining her thoracic diaphragm muscles beneath her lungs, and thereby ruining her singing voice. The point is, an anorexic has already done the irreparable damage to their body that will forever prevent them from being a good, or even average, singer. Much less professional.

… but you're right-on where she is concerned. This is one "actress" who can't, in the least, act. For one, she's painfully thin (particularly her neck) which is hard to look at, but more importantly she comes across as really "hard" and she lacks subtlety. Every part she's in is a study in "over-emotion".

Um, I think she should be proud of what she's trying to do. No where in there does she say she's thinking of releasing an album a la scarlett…she's simply working as hard as she can on a role, which requires singing.
