MTV had announced that they would be premiering a new music video from Britney Spears for Break The Ice last month.
They later recanted and no clip materialized.
Well, it seems like her record label is intent on trying to make the most of her flop of an album, Blackout.
While she focuses on getting healthy, her label is going to release the video WITHOUT Britney in it, The Sun is reporting.
The clip will feature an animated Britney (scene above).
You can do a lot more with a Spears that is actually cooperative!

Britney moved 2 million units from oct 30th-december 31st 2007. Since then she's moved even more. Not a flop.

I actually think its a very good idea. If instead of pointless dancing and whatnot they have an actual video with a story and whatnot… cartoons can be fun. Look at the Gorillaz, half the time I'm watching their videos because they're neat, not the music.

and her album was not a flop. her singles sell very well on itunes, and so many people love 'blackout'. compared to her past sales, it may be disappointing, but very few artists are still selling 6 million or more actual albums. it's a singles market!!!
