MTV had announced that they would be premiering a new music video from Britney Spears for Break The Ice last month.
They later recanted and no clip materialized.
Well, it seems like her record label is intent on trying to make the most of her flop of an album, Blackout.
While she focuses on getting healthy, her label is going to release the video WITHOUT Britney in it, The Sun is reporting.
The clip will feature an animated Britney (scene above).
You can do a lot more with a Spears that is actually cooperative!

I hate to say it, but so far the songs I've heard from this CD are not bad. It's a shame it's not selling the way it should be. If it takes an animated Britney to promote this, then go for it.

i think it's a good idea because she really does need to focus on herself, and getting healthy. once she truly is healthy, she can make start making better videos that shes actually in, AND she can actually promote it with performances on television and what not. if it's too late and to promote blackout by that time, she can make a new, better album. xoxo

Britney moved 2 million units from oct 30th-december 31st 2007. Since then she's moved even more. Not a flop.
i think any video is better than no video, but i think its sucks that britney doesnt want to promote her album herself! i've never been a fan of her music, but this album was pretty hot!!! WORK IT damn you
