Tori spelling wasn't born ugly, but she man-made herself ugly with her numerous plastic surgeries. That's what happens when you let some doctor do arts and crafts on your face.

The horrible comment her mother said was when Tori was 12 years old. Tori was getting dressed up for something or other and went into the bathroom where her mother was, and asked her mother if she looked pretty. Her mother replied 'you will be when you get your nose done'. NICE!!

I used to not like Tori Spelling…. but after hearing her in her own words doing interviews and things…. I really like her. I think she's been honest with all of us about her life, and is living a happy, love-filled life now. She seems to work extremely hard for what she has and is very proud of that. She grew up much different than most of us, yet she now seems extremely grounded and sweet. I also think she's pretty and I like her style. For those of you who are calling her names and saying she's ugly– that is just plain mean I think.
I like Tori. She's a genuinely nice person and definitely not a spoiled little rich girl. She works for her money. Ignore the cruel haters Tori - God only knows what they look like hiding behind their computers.
Ugly? She's cute as anything with big beautiful eyes. Nice person too. Congrats on the new baby Tori!
I love Tori. I had a mean critical mom too, and it takes a lot to rise above that and be happy with yourself. Tori doesn't take herself too seriously, but she is a strong beautiful woman.

I don't sympathize with her. Does her book discuss how she became a homewrecker, taking away someone else's husband and father? She didn't seem to put a whole lotta effort into staying married to her first husband. Aaron Spelling was rightly disappointed when that lavishly-feted marriage (that he paid for) fizzled so quickly.
Has Tori abandoned her roots? I don't know a heckuva lot of Jewish girls who would name their son Liam. But I guess it's Erin go Bragh in that household. And as for her claim about not knowing how to manage her own money–alls I can say is she had plenty of time and opportunities to learn how.
I love Tori! Remember back when she started on 90210 and how everybody trashed her for years? People were seriously so mean, and she took everything in stride and was so cool about it. You gotta respect her for keeping such a positive attitude. Her dad didn't give her tons of money because if he had, she be a spoiled worthless brat by now. Good for both of them!

After watching this I have more respect for Tori, as much as we like to trash celebs, she's been through a lot to get where she is now and had to deal with the media the whole time. She seems like a pretty strong person and I'm glad things worked out for her OK.
Gotta respect someone that is just looking out for the welfare of her family, makes her like the rest of us.

Tori, if you are truly humble as you protray yourself to be, then i have to say i am soooo impressed by you. to have come from a family that could almost feed the third world, to be left just under a million, is mind boggling. in perspective it would be like me being left a 100 from a hundred thousand. and yet you are so at peace with that. your father knew what he was doing and your peace with his decision is what is going to make your childrens lives rich. they could have been monetarily lavished but the gift from your father will be passed to your children and they will become socially conscious and aware citizens. your gratitude and respect for him impresses me to no end. i only pray your mother will see that there is so much more to life then your father's financial legacy.

Wow, I have a lot of respect for her now. I'm truly impressed by her strength and courage and honesty. Just because she grew up privileged does not mean she had an easy life. Obviously her mother has a lot of issues. I hope they can work thru their differences. She is brave, funny and candid. Bravo!

I like Tori. I used to have a not very good impression of her, and I think it was how she was portrayed. Considering the way she grew up and with how much money, I think she came out pretty normal. She works hard and does what she has to do to make money and isn't concerned with her image. I do however think her mom seems evil and if she has that much money I can't believe she wouldn't share a little more, come on her dad was Aaron Spelling! I think Candy seems very vindictive. And for all of those people that say Tori is ugly, I can only imagine what they look like. What do they say, people whom are happy don't put others down. At least Tori can laugh at herself.
