One Night In Austin

Canada's Dragonette are nominated for a Juno Award for Best New Group. We'll find out whether they win or lose later this month, but before then….

They're gonna bring the sex to our inaugural One Night In Austin concert extravaganza this Saturday!

This glam/electro/rock band opened for the Sugababes on their U.K. tour last year, and now they're playing in a super intimate setting for what is going to be (and this is not hype) the hottest party OF THE WEEK.

Joining Dragonette on our stellar lineup are N.E.R.D., Robyn, Eric Hutchinson, Riskay and 6 more amazing artists to be announced these next few days.

    Awful band.
    Saw them open for Most Serene Republic in Toronto.
    Sounded/looked like they were air-banding to a track.
    Even then, they sucked.

    So this is the hottest party of the week at SXSW because you say so, eh? You're also the same person who earlier this week claimed that Radiohead and Nine Inch Nails were more relevant 10 years ago. Please stick to using MS Paint to draw semen on actors' faces, something you're much more proficient at than blogging about music. Why any musical act would want to associate itself with you is beyond me. Also, go look at the line-up for Diplo's Mad Decent party and then tell me how "hot" your show is.

    ahhhhh. I love them. I got tickets for their show in Vancouver, but am going to San Francisco that day…..so ended up giving them to a friend. Although I'm happy to be going on holidays…part of me is disappointed I won't see 'em. Awesome awesome CD.
