and people were worried about Michael Bay remaking Rosemary's baby? Norton needs to stick with the movie types he's good at..this one just doesn't happen to be one of em. I guess they can't do too much worse than Ang Lee's Hulk…as long as Uwe Boll stays away from the superhero movies (and i wish to high hell he'd leave the video game movies alone! unfortunately that doesn't look like it's going to happen since he's bought both the Castlevania AND metroid rights…sigh.) then it shouldn't be a total flop.

i'm not sure what perez has against ed norton, given his scathing piece yesterday about norton and the studio fighting over the treatment of this movie. but ed norton is a genius, and whatever he's fighting for is most likely for the best. ed norton could not possibly do any injustice to this movie.

it's a movie based more on the tv show than the comic. the studio is trying to reinvent the Hulk since ang lee's version bombed in the box office. and, no, it doesn't look that great. edward norton joined under the conditions that he could rewrite and have majority of creative control.

What do YOU know about cinema? Im not very interested but I FUCKING LOVE ED NORTON AND LIV TAYLOR, I would watch it for them alone but the thing is that Hulk is just not really interesting to me, Hulk bores me and the first one sucked, this one however was created by Ed Norton so maybe it's good, I hope this movie is a hit, they deserve it, two very talented actors.

Not sure where you get cheesy, but then your taste seems to differ from mine a great deal. Though the Ang Lee HULK was fabulous and underrated, I am eager to see this latest version and hope it is American History X-Norton not 25th Hour-Norton, though I blame Spike Lee for the latter.

One can't judge it without seeing it. I've seen almost all the movies that Norton has made, and none of them have sucked. If he went for it it might be good.

Edward Norton joined this movie because he grew up reading The Hulk comics and loved them. He knows the origin and major story lines, thats why he was given the chance to make changes to the script. This movie looks so much better and truer to form than the first because:

1. Bruce Banner (Edward Norton) is a scrawny little genius who is trying to keep the Hulk at bay and wants rid of him. Eric Bana is a chiseled hunk who was able to mutter the lines "you wouldn't like me when I'm angry".

2. They've introduced major characters already so now all they have to do is build on what the first introduced. The Abomination looked amazing and The Hulk looks friggin' sweet as well.

This is a re-working of The Hulk franchise. They are making this movie to make up for the first movie… and that is why this will be a great movie.
