Who needs talent????

They'll give out a fashion line to just about anyone these days!

The Hills "star" Whitney Port is coming out with her own clothing collection too.

That's in addition to Heidi Montag and Lauren Conrad's lines.

Whitney's collection is called Eve & A and its fall line of "cocktail and partywear."

Poor Audrina. She must feel so left out!

      Despite the lack of supposed talent, I think Whitney has the most potential for a good line. She has style (as can be seen on the show, which I'm ashamed to say I've seen…). Audrina will, hopefully, stick to the music scene.

      you know that makes me really mad, because people with the real talent but no money or a "show" behind makes it harder for anyone want to invest in. i have a passion for fashion and have been working my butt off with my own sewing and designing and the dying of everything to get out there while people like them who just big shirts to use and call it a dress are being recognize with ridiculous prices. like who the fuck is going to pay 150 for something they can get cheaper??? eh whatever

      Whitney and Lauren actually maintain careers in fashion… it's not like it's coming out of nowhere. Lauren probably went with it with all of her "fame" but Whitney actually graduated college and has worked in the business for over 5 years. Plus she is barely ever even on the show. I've watched like, 10 episodes and I didn't even see her in half of them.

      I'm sick of people getting clothing line just because they're celebrities. I want unknown young , who go to school to be designers , to get a chance to break out and show us what they have. Now they won't get the opportunity because the celebrities have taken over the fashion line, like the actresses took away the models jobs. At least be creative and try another fashion venue like Nicole Richie with Maternity, and Snoop Dog with Dog Clothes. It's beyond crowed, It's overcrowed and as long as people keep buying their stuff the Unknown at Parsons and other design schools won't have a change unless they go on a show like Project Runway. How sad and pathetic that untalented celebrities (the real talent is working behind the scene while the celebs get the credit) jump right over the unknowns who are slaving in school. If Lauren Conrad don't come out with something better than her first line, her time should be up and an unknown should have a change to take her spot. Heidi clothes not only look good but are affordable so her line is ok. This should be the last year for celebrities to get a free pass on a clothing line. Next year it should be mandatory that they go to school and suffer like other design students. Let's keep it real.
