These "celebs" who bring out books on subjects for which they have no qualifications are dangerous. He is an actor NOT a health professional. People suffering from major depression, as I do, are put at risk by these people who just see targeting a specific group of people with their unqualified advice as another avenue to make money. I would do anything to rid myself of my depression. But even so, I am not stupid enough to follow the advice of snake-oil advocates like Carrey. The worrying thing is that some people might.

Oh, I just hate it when celebrities make irresponsible comments like this. It's another reason for someone to just stop taking their meds and become very, very ill and possibly suicidal. :(

oh shit…..he has for sure been brainwashed by tom cruise. scientology is a cult folks. sure, supplements may help some people but i think it is scary to convince people that all or most cases can be treated without prescribed medication. it is very irresponsible.

Wow, I guess they are both scientologists. Maybe taking care of yourself is good for some people with mild depression, but certainly not everyone.
