sorry perez the only things in that list that we say are bolloxed, langered and paralytic. we do however say 'off his head', 'out of his tree', locked, off his face, ossified and hammered.
ick, green beer D:
HELLS TO THE YES!
as they also like to say, let's have a crazy 'session' - which means get wasted lol
i leave for ireland in t-4 days…. can't wait!

Re: Stephanie –
you are full of shite.
Re: LimeyLad – why don't you come over here, and educate yourself before making pathetic comments like that. anyone as ignorant as you isn't exactly an ambassador for your supposedly 'high class' culture. you are one hell of a snob.
and to everyone who said it's an excuse to get drunk - stop makin gracist stereotypes. i'm irish and i don't even drink but there's nothing wrong with other people having a laugh and getting a bit drunk. they aren't constantly drunk every day like you ignoramuses seem to believe.
oh and i meant 'racist' not 'gracist' - no clue what that word is !!
Yay! Happy Paddy's Day everyone!!!!!!
Let's all go get polluted tonight!
Oh and LimeyLad, pog mo thóin. Is gobshite thú.
Today isn't St. Patrick's Day! It was Saturday. The Catholic Church changed it for this year. Sorry kids.
haha
Re: ella –
we say paralytic and bolloxed in england too
too bad the Catholic Church moved St. Patty's day to this past Saturday…..
Re: Jess –
to me that just sounds like people should celebrate both days
Re: LimeyLad –
we hate the Irish?
Where I come from (newcastle area) everyone frickin loves the irish
St. Patty's day was saturday. The pope changed it.
Drive fast and take chances, jerkoffs!
whelp….I'm preggie…so….i can drink some green o'douls i guess!
Its hilarious that people just think Irish people r always drunk…St Patricks day is a day celebrated by the church!! Im proud to be Irish, we sure know how to have fun….by the way Perez u shud stick airlocked and begged on that list haha
xxx
I love you Perez!!!!! Happy St Patty's Day!!!!
Actually, the St Patrick's Day mass was changed to Saturday because of Eater Sunday….. all the st patricks day parades and stuff are happening today so it's still officially st patrick's day today.
Re: LimeyLad – What a load of bollocks, we Brits dont hate the Irish and they certainly dont have a very low class culture - idiot
TOP OF THE AFTERNOON TO YOU!….SOMEBODY PASS THE LUCKY CHARMS
I hate people that have no clue what St Patrick's Day even is and just use it as an excuse to get wasted!
happy st patricks day everyone! try not get too drunk!
You forgot bathered and rotten!!
re; LimeyLad -
Are you serious??????? Ireland is known as the land of saints and scholars you ignorant fool. England is the home of racism, chavs, asbos, alcopops and has more teenage drinking than anywhere in Europe, more drink related accidents and arrests than the rest of Europe and more teenage pregnancies than any where in Erurope and you have Jeremy Kyle!! Oh yes and try reading a history book. If you weren't so obviously an unintelligent idiot I might take offence but as it is your comment is just laughable. HAPPY ST PATRICK'S DAY!!!!!!!!
SAINT PATRICK'S DAY= BRIT'S OUT DAY! FUCK YOU LIMEY! SAINT PATRICK'S DAY SMACKS HARD IN THE MOUTH OF YOUR FUCKING IMPERIALIST WAY OF LIFE!
DO YOU KNOW WHY THE IRISH WEREN'T EDUCATED WHEN THEY CAME TO AMERICA? BECAUSE THE PENAL LAWS TOOK AWAY THEIR RIGHT TO EDUCATION.
The drunkest people I have ever seen in my life were the 20-something women who party in Dublin. Followed closely by the 20-something men. Relatively cute women, some scary not cute, but they drink until they stumble out the door into God knows what other pub. It's actually pretty embarassing. I was just there and thought it was a really bad problem.
It is paddies day today, it was only the religious cermonies were on the 14th and today is for the usual festivities! Fyi Ella in Cork we ALWAYS say mouldy.
Have a good one sexies!!!x
update with the dui guy
Re: ella –
We do say all them. Well I do.
I think we can make any word mean drunk to be honest.
from that list the most used ones would be bolloxed (every second word from our mouths) fluthered, gee-eyed, paralytic and twisted. some people say pissed, like rubber, legless, oua the game r in a jocker cant think of more right now
hey i m britsh and i dont hate the irish and they aint low cultured! yahh someone get me my lucky charms, i dont really celebrate st patricks day but time for me to pull some blokes hopefully i ll have the luck of the irsh! i'll agree with brit try not to get too drunk! never know what might happen! my friend got drunk on her hen night and ended up from being in KENT from CENTRAL LONDON! poor her!
BUT THEN AGAIN THE AMERICANS THINK ALL THE ENGLISH WEAR BOWLER HATS AND THAT THERE IS FOG IN LONDON ALL YEAR, SO THIS ASSUMPTION ABOUT THE IRISH BEING DRUNK ALL THE TIME IS JUST ANOTHER WAY TO SHOW US HOW THICK YOU ALL ARE…..
DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE! THAT ONE EXTRA DRINK MAY CHANGE YOUR LIFE!
Ireland has a great scholastic tradition. We used to be known as "the island of Saints and Scholars". The oldest known manuscripts in Europe were produced by Irish monks. Our economic miracle of the last 15 years has been fuelled by a knowledge-based economy. So shut it !
Theres also fucked , hammered , poluted , steaming and many many more but too drunk to write them, Woo Eire!!
Re: LimeyLad –
You are quite obviously an ignorant prick.
As far as I'm aware the Brits like the Irish.
When I say brits I mean Scots and Welsh.
It's because we all have one thing in common.
And that it the hatred of the English.
So buck up and read a book will you.
Never know you might learn something.
waz hood wit hpe everybody have a guud st.patricks day
st. patrick's was actually on saturday..the roman catholic church moved it since it conflicted with holy monday…….howeverrrrrrr i still think it's a good day for it
Already there, Perezzers, already there. As an American with 100% Irish blood (Grand parents & Great Grandparent from Ireland) I want to wish you all Happy St. Patrick's Day! And I took the time from my partying to check this blog and my stocks to let you know this. Thank you
Bolloxed isn't to do with drinking I don't think. Anyway, the words you left out are 'pissed' or even 'legless'.
Re: LimeyLad – you're an idiot, the Brits love the Irish why else do they have one of the biggest St Patrick's day festivals? Go and stick something up your arse and rotate on it …
Re: Jess –
today IS St.Patirck's day….only in the church is was changed to the 15th (as in ceremonies and church stuff) but today the 17th is still the official state holiday of our patron saint…
Re: Jess – It is Paddy's day today only the mass day changed, the parade was on in Dublin today as its a bank holiday in Ireland, parade was on yesterday in London and the fabulous Roisin Murphy performed in Trafalgar Square … mabye stick that up your arse Limey Lad
its not saint patricks day. saturday was. the pope changed it this year (to march 15h)….look that up! seeing as though holy week is this week, the pope and irish bishop didnt want to associate holy week with drinking..
SO LIMEYLAD, YOU DON'T SEEM TO HAVE TOO MUCH TO SAY NOW!!!!!!!
To Jess and Stephanie, do your homework girls today IS St Patricks day. March 17th always was and always will be Paddys day
Re: suzie – true - i guess it depends where in the country you are, where i'm from we don't say half of them but likewise, other parts of the country might not say what we say for drunk. had to laugh at you saying we can make any word mean drunk - totally true - in fact have you noticed how we see to be able to make any word mean anything we like?! like most of the lads i know can use any nouns they like and make it mean 'boobs'. and limeylad says we're not cultured
glad to see most of the brits on here showing that limeylad is an exception, and they are not all ignorant like him.
rotten is another one!!!!
full…
or "as full as a bingo bus"
Happy Green Day
Happy St. Patricks Day all the way from the Emerald Isle!
have a good one everyone!
