Britney Spears has just been ordered by the LA courts to pay Mark Vincent Kaplan, Kevin Federline's lawyer, $375,000 in legal bills.
The fees stemmed from the 4 month battle between Kaplan and BritBrit's lawyer's over the custody of Small Fry and Tater Tot.
BritBrit should be happy that she didn't have to pay the $500,000 Kaplan was originally asking for!
On top of that, Spears also has to pay HER former lawyers over $600,000 for their services.
It's a good thing homegirl's getting back to work. She needs to be making a steady income!

So after reading this comment it truly makes me realize how ignorant people are. People that are mentally ill do not function the same way that others do. There is a chemical imbalance in the brain and not every person understand the outcome of not taking their medications. It's not as easy as people think. "oh take your meds and you'll be better." It doesn't work that way.
I understand paying Fed's bills, but I would like to see the hourly rates of the lawyers on both sides. Totally out of line. Lawyers in Hollywood must be charging a few thousand an hour because while they were in court alot, it was not everyday.
