She continues down her path of self-destruction!
Amy Winehouse was seen walking around London on Monday with these new wounds on her arm.
The Rehab singer has spoken openly in the past about her self-harming, which just screams out for severe psychological help as well as treatment for her hardcore (and reportedly continuing) drug addiction.
What's it gonna take before her parents or someone just forces her to get help????

Wow, what a classy thing to say.
it's not that big a fucking deal. just leave her alone for christ sake. it doesn't mean she needs severe psychological help, it's a much more common problem than you think. if you want to actually make a difference, try running a story on how many 10, 11, 12 year old kids do that every day, and try to actually make a difference rather than just continue to harrass this poor person.
How the FUCK is it possible, that this disgusting person is admired. I have never heard her music before, maybe she does have talent (I would never listen to her, she has totally turned me off)…but what message are WE sending? It's ok to be a waste of air and a crack head, as long as you can sing all is forgiven? She has zero interest in cleaning up, she honestly repulses me!
LOOK AT HER, she is a disgrace to the music industry. She needs help immediately, not accolades…We need to teach our children that IT IS NOT OK TO ABUSE our bodies and minds. It's very sad how WE encourage this type of example to be led. No ramifications for actions, just praise.
How does anybody expect her to get help, all those years of drug abuse have screwed up her mind so much that she probably think since no one has tried to help/stop her from self destructing even more…than she is ok…Let’s sing and smoke crack!

OH MY GOD. It is soooooooooo easy for her doctors to get her 302'd. Basically it means the police come get you, cuff you, & FORCE you into treatment. It happens EVERYDAY to people who are a threat to themselves, be the threat suicide/cutting/eating disorders etc. All her family or doctors would have to do is emergency petition her into the hospital, they get a fast court order & it's done. But like everybody else who handles celebrity's. they are sucking the teet of her fame & don't wanna do it because they know with their cash cow in the hospital ward, they can't make money. It's sick & ti should be criminal that her family, friends, management & doctors haven't done it yet.
Perez, you cannot FORCE an addict to get help.
They have to want help.
Forcing someone doesn't change a thing. It might stop the behavior for a short time, but it will continue once they're out of rehab or wherever.
Take it from someone who has a lot of recovering addicts as friends. Recovery has to come within and from your own desire. No one can force you into it.

It's a horrible and common disorder. Unfortunately, it is very difficult and usually completely ineffectual to force people to get help, Perez. Most people have to reach that point on their own for treatment to work.
I'm glad to see that her cutting is only superficial…since she's showing them and they are half-hearted catscratches, This is a HUGE cry for help…she needs someone to have a serious talk with..some tough love from her psychiatrist, if she has one.

You're obviously not much of a "Self Harmer", I've got the scars to prove you wrong(I no longer use self harm as a coping mechanism but I did for a long, long time).
Amy did this for attention, If she really wanted to hurt herself to relieve pain and is a past "Self Injurer" she wouldn't want the media to know it's a very private thing, people finding out can even sometimes ruin the relief it offers, which is what happened with me. She would also be going deeper than that, the longer you self harm, the deeper you go. This is the case with every self injurer I've ever met.
This media whore needs to grow the fuck up in a hurry.

Without sectioning you can't even get her treated without her agreement.

As a former self-mutilator, I deeply sympathize with Amy, and I pray that she gets the help she needs. For me, it meant going on medication. For her, it may mean a mixture of medication, therapy, and rehab. To those of you out there who don't understand what she's going through (and I know its hard to understand)– she doesn't want to be this way. She's sick, and if she was in her right mind, she would be able to choose not to cut. To those of you out there who are cutters– please get help. I know its hard, but I'm living proof that you CAN get better. Its now been over a year since I cut. If you can't tell those who are close to you, then tell your doctor, and she'll be able to help you. Trust me, it will get better.
Perez, you claim to know everything about everything but you're really a moron! Just because she cuts herself doesn't mean she's crying out for help, it doesn't necessarily mean she needs psychological help either.
People cut for many reasons, yes, psychological problems being one but there are many more. If she was so psycho, I don't think she'd show them off like she does.
If she did it because of mental issues, I don't think they'd be little cuts I'm sure she'd make them deep enough for scars.. long lasting ones.
