I think the song she made with Michael Young was way better than this one.It's called"parle a ma main".It's a parody and it's very funny unlike this one which is just plain vulgar!
Aurore, you're right, but it's importatnt to know that Cuisinier is from the band TTC and the song "je veux te voir" is like a parody of their vulgar and machist songs. so that's why it's so good and hilarious, hope you'll find a translation it really worth it !
Perez im sorry, but i live in France and shes a complete joke. She cant sing and the music suchs. Her one hit was a remix done by someone else, the original was shit beyond belief.

I'm french and I find this song really funny, but it's old (more than a year), except to see young girls singing the lyrics by heart without understand anything! but the must funny thing here is reading american people talking about electronic music and lyrics in french! moreover when we listen your music! the difference is that american songs are more crappy than yelle, because american singers sing the same crap but they think they are serious and intelligent! too funny!

YOu have to keep in mind that it is making fun of TTC's 'Girlfriend'. Taking the lyrics out of context makes it seem ridiculous. In a silly manner, it's kind of empowering

i think they're really funny
besides there are a lot songs with bad lyrics who still rock because of the music.
You don't have to understand the lyrics of a song to know if you like it or you don't.
okay, do you have any idea what it means and why she sings this song? let me explain:
this is a response to a very sexist and macho song, very vulgar, the hymne of the medical colleges in france
so the chorus could be translate: i want to see you act in a porn/ your dick in action/ in a potato or french fries form/…
so okay, she's cool and stuff (she comes not far from where i can from), but seriously the song is not that good, she has other songs wayyyyy better
i did not know yelle got popular in north america ! do you understand what she says in her songs ? because she is a smart girl, she doesn't say regular bullshit, she really stands out and her style is unique.
And of course, above all, she has the french touch which means she has AWESOME BEATS such as JUSTICE, DAFT PUNK, BOB SINCLAR, DAVID GUETTA, MARTIN SOLVEIG, and all of these other french electronic bands !
