On Anthony Minghella

“I’m devastated, there is really no way to put it into words. He was a gift to the world.” - Nicole Kidman

"He wasincredibly talented and so interested in art and making the world better for art. He was very specific and very loving. He was very sweet to his actors. He would kind of massage everybody while he was talking – very tactile and warm.” - Gwyneth Paltrow

“Anthony possessed a sensitivity and alertness to the actor’s process that very few directors have. He directed most of The English Patient with an ankle in plaster, never losing his gentle humor and precision. He delighted in the contribution of everyone – he was a true collaborator. His films deal with extreme aloneness and the redemptive power of love, even at the moment of death. I will remember him as a man who always wanted to get to the heart of the matter.” - Ralph Fiennes

Just once I'd like to read a quote of someone who didn't like the person that died. "He's dead? Oh good, he was a dick." Fred McMurry

He's an australian director. His movie most well known is The English Patient, taken after the book. The world has lost a brilliant man. We will miss him.

I am SOOOO saddened by his sudden death!!

I was a HUGE fan of his films.

I loved how his movies seemed to be about the powerful redemption of true love. His "English Patient" is still one of my favorites of all films.

"she is devastated", yeah right, for someone devastated, you didn't paya good tribute like ralph or Gwyneth!
Bitch is selfish and always has to make it about her.

      I hope she dies! cunt!

English Patient was beautiful…First movie I saw with Ralph Fiennes. Woow…what an actor. Sad that the talent who created such a movie passed away.

"I think PEZIE should diet otherwise, she will look like the late great comedian of the 1970's Totie Fields. Pezie possesses a large frame and probably is subject to big-girl rashes (Friction caused when walking resulting in irritation of the upper thighs).
We love the girls Pezie and Ryan Seacrest forever"
