Gossip Girl To Get Even Better
She is SO much better than Mushy!
The Hollywood Reporter breaks news that Michelle Trachtenberg has made a deal to appear on multiple episodes of Gossip Girl.
The Buffy alum is set to play Georgina Sparks. Sparks will head to Manhattan, after a stint in rehab, and will shake up the life of Blake Lively's character, Serena van der Woodsen. In other words, Michelle will be the bitch. We love it!
As you may recall, Mischa Barton was being considered for the role, but she allegedly backstabbed the producers and just used them for publicity.
Thank God she's not on it!! It would have been the end of GG.
Trachtenberg is just getting all the luck this year. She's appearing in the comedy Kids in America, but even better, she just recently wrapped up filming Seventeen Again, where she stars with Zac Efron. Yummy!
You know Perez is the original Gossip Girl. Maybe we should play a cameo part on the show and expose some scandalous photos of Trachtenberg's character.
Or they should make Chace Crawford's character gay and we could be his new boyfriend! That HAS to happen!

I've read the Gossip Girls books, and Mischa would've been a better fit for Georgina than Michelle.

wow, gossip girls, that's, yah, just, well… maybe if i was a tween. i'm finding Michelle's career to be really disappointing, i was expecting more from her after Buffy ended. i thought she might to go university and then re-emerge as someone wanting to do more difficult and demanding roles. but so far it's all junk, and while junk is awesome once in a while, it's not enough. so she's totally off my list of real actors whose projects i follow and support.

I'm a serious Buffy fan and I love Michelle Trachtenberg and Dawn. I think it's silly to say she ruined the show because no one ruined the show. The show ended when it was time and it was great straight through the apocalypse.
