It's nice to see people doing good every once in a while!
Ellen DeGeneres has been confirmed to once again join Ryan Seacrest as host of Idol Gives Back on Fox, as part of the yearly American Idol benefit special. The special it's set to air on Wednesday, April 9th.
The celebs are coming in full force this year, as well. Set to participate are Bradley Pitt, Bono, Reese Witherspoon, John Legend, Snoop Dogg, Carrie Underwood, and several others.
The performance lineup is also looking good, with acts like Maroon 5, The Clark Brothers, Boyz II Men (wait, they still perform?), and our favoritest Latina, Gloria Estefan.
Hopefully, with the help of so many viewers, the benefit can raise millions of dollars this year to fund various charities worldwide. Last year they raised $78 million. Let's hope this year they make it to $100 mil.

…love ellen..shes awesome..i enjoyed her dancing to the new Madonna & JT..Perez..just wanted to add..Boyz II Men sure in fact does still perform..I sometimes feel like the only existing BIIM fan….but their shows are packed from wall to wall..for the past three years they have done tons of shows, mostly at smaller venues like House of Blues..but they have never really been known for huge, crazy, loud concerts..they are very intimate..and whenever i tell someone i'm going to a BIIM concert..people seem to always remember the moment when they heard their songs…they start singing End of the Road..and all those other hits they had…they also beat Elvis's record for # of weeks at #1..and there is only three of them now…but they still sing with the same emotion..harmonize beautifully..and dance their asses off…sorry to take the focus off ellen…but I always defend my boys!!!..a handful of the last existing groups that can really sing..accapela, harmony, no computers..all real soulful voices..

Boyz II Men sure do still perform…I saw them at the opening Christmas concert at Longwood Gardens this past November and it was just like old times. They sang all the old favorites, including End of the Road which the crowd went crazy for. They were great…I'd love to see them again!
If Idol is so generous why don't they give all the money they receive from commercial endorsements that night instead of asking us to shell out the cash. I'll throw in $10 if I can watch Paula blow Simon while Randy takes her from behind.
