This episode was one of South Park's best . . .not nearly their funniest but definitely the one with the best message. It made me really re-think all of this crazy stuff we are doing as a human race. Watch the whole episode it will teach you a lesson! Parker and Stone painted us out to be humans who build people up and then sacrifice them and watch them destroy themselves until they die. I gained a whole new perspective . . . at times this show was really sad and tragic and I'm ashamed to be one of those people that follow the tabloids. I think Stan and Kyle were right . . . it is time to just let this one go and leave Britney alone.

This was brilliant and I want to thank you Perez for posting this, even though it's essentially bashing you and the people you work with, as well as everyone that reads this blog.
Although it seemed harsh to Britney it was really just portraying the difficult life she leads, the outside pressures from everyone around her and shows her just as a vulnerable girl and mother who just wants to see her children, but is manipulated constantly by her agent, fans, the photogs and recording agents.

Yes it was a skewering of people like Perez and the paps…but it was also a jab at people like us…we are the consumers of these images (Britney shaving her head, Britney getting wheeled away in an ambulance, etc etc) and without us, the paps would have no reason to take these kinds of photos. Yes, you could argue that Britney wants to have her photo taken…but is someone who is clearly suffering from mental illness in any position to give her consent to having such photos taken? Parker and Stone are just telling it like it is…and you know, there's a lot of people (ie. magazine publishers, bloggers, etc) who would have a field day if Britney off-ed herself. It would make good news. Just think about how the paps responded to Heath Ledger's death…instead of giving his family and friends room to grieve, they were hounded all in the name of a good story, a good paycheck. And that is what this episode was trying to show…that it is seriously fucked up that we have ceased to think of these people as human beings.

I think its very true….espcially about her kids, I thought it was a major taboo to bring people's kids into the mess, but that seems to be all the tabloids and E! do. Thats how they sell papers. On the other hand she should have never called those fuckers and told them where she was going to be and what she was going to do. She invited the vampires in and she should have known that she couldn't control what they were going to write or how they would warp the pictures they took That Adnan freak is going to burn in hell for taking advantage of a mentally ill person. But once again she knew what she was getting herself into. I don't care how emtionally fucked one is she knew he was MARRIEDm a GOLDIGGER and a PUBLICITY WHORE. He just wants his fifteen minutes like everyone else who is around her. Her mother did not do a good job raising either one of those girls. If it was anyone else's mother (i.e. the little people) and her underage daughter was pregnant by a cradrobber and her "adult" daughter had her kids taken away because she is mentally incapable of providing a safe environment for them, that mother would be chastized and judged to no end. (Not to mention child services investigating for her knowledge that there was statutory rape going on while on her watch.) But because it Lynne Spears she gets a free pass and people feel sorry for her. She's a user just like everyone else around her daughter and uses her girls as a bank.
Um…that was pretty disturbing. But not nearly as disturbing as the peta ads with the multi-tit action. Are you trying to get people to stop drinking milk or stop liking boobs? I'm all confused now.
For all of you yelling at Perez for being a horrible person, have you looked in the mirror lately? We are all on this site looking at what he posts.
