La Lohan headed home to NY on Wednesday to spend what will surely be a sad Easter weekend with the fam.
Lindsay's grandpa (on her dad's side) is not well.
Grandpa Lohan is in the ICU at a Long Island area hospital. His colon cancer has taken a turn for the worse - it's spread to his lungs.
La Lohan is expected to spend time at the hospital along with her siblings, Ali and Cody.

Sympathy to the Lohan family at this time. I wish there was a cure for this terrible disease. Its taken a lot of good people. I wish there was a little more kindness towards others instead of worrying about who's 'first' what Lindsay looks like, etc. I don't claim to be a fan of her but dealing with cancer is no picnic in the park and when you see your loved one dying of it, it suks. So my thoughts and sympathy go out to Linday and her family.

I know what Lindsay is going through. My gran had lung cancer which spread to her back and liver. She died on sunday, but still…Hopefully she'll stay strong and not let this eat her up and lead her to going back to her old ways.
Hope her grandad is ok too. And if he does die, I hope it's peaceful.
