I agree that Kate Moss isn't exactly stunning and smoking SHOULD NOT be glamorized….HOWEVER. Even non smokers can get cancer and emphysema. Not to mention not all smokers get cancer.

This is the thing I hate about your posts. You generalize so much and look down on smokers all the time.

Yes we know smoking is bad. It kills and so do alot of other things. As for quitting smoking you have no idea how hard it really is. It takes more then just a quit smoking aid to quit…. like motivation, will power and strength to endure the process of ridding your body of chemicals.

THANK YOU PEREZ! I am glad to see someone standing up and talking about how disgusting and deadly smoking is. Everytime I see someone smoke it makes me sick, especially when it's a celebrity, and it's being 'glamourized' in a movie or photo shoot. Our young people are out there buying magazines and going to movies, and they look up to the celebrities, and are influenced by their behaviour.
Maybe if the pics in mags showed terminal cancer patients, and people with emphasima there would be less sexy and glamour involved.
Here in Canada a few years ago a model who smoked a lot ended up with terminal cancer, and she went on a crusade to try to get young people to stop smoking, and those who didn't, not to start. Try googling 'Barb Tarbox'. We need more people like her to stand up and scare the shit out of people. Sadly, she has passed away, but there are more out there… Patrick Swayze??

I'm a non-smoker and i really hate when i smell like cigarette after being at a party, and I really hate how selfish smokers can be (especially here in France), but what you've been doing lately with you anti-smoking posts is DUMB Perez. Someone who smokes chooses it and there's no way you're gonna help them being vindicative like that. My entire family smokes and I've tried everything and there's no way they're stopping unless they really WANT to. You have to BE WILLING to.

The best drug to take to quit smoking is Chantix, perez spread the word! This drug attacts the addiction part of your brain, you keep smoking while you take it. One of my patients smoked for 55 years 3-4 packs a day, took this drug and after 1 1/2 weeks was smoke free. It costs $124 for a months supply and it is available only via prescription, but think about it you pay more than that a month on cigs.
