If you like Lifehouse or OneRepublic, then you will love this band!

Their name is We The Living and their hail from Los Angeles.

The song we've been obsessing over is this really pretty ballad of theirs called Best Laid Plans.

It should be the theme song to the new Beverly Hills, 90210 spin-off!!!

Such a pretty song.

Enjoy it below!

Perez, THANK YOU for introducing us to this band. There are thousands of people here who think these guys are the effing best thing to come along in recent memory. These dudes are SUPER friendly, humble, hard working and intelligent. Their music is so far from sucking that any of you people who wrote smack about them on here, you need to get your dog's tongue out of your ear so you can hear straight. yeah. And we're taking names. How much would I love to send you a text message one day when you're standing in line in the rain for 2 hours to spend 100 dollars on a ticket to hear this band, and you're HOPING like a monkey's nutsack that nobody around you finds out that you wrote this lame shit about them when they weren't famous. Stick it in your mother's ear, shit talkers. You immature IQ challenged can't-see-past-the-zit on-the-end-of-yer-nose retards only like music AFTER the industry TELLS you to like. Try using your own judgment for once and see if you can pick a winner before the industry does it FOR you, lemming idiots. Obviously Perez can do it, and PEREZ THANK YOU for having an ear and a mind and getting out the word on this genius band–before they are super famous.

Thanks for featuring We The Living! These guys have an amazing album. Every song is so heartfelt with absolutely brilliant lyrics. They are one of the few bands out there who sound even better live than on the CD. Seeing them perform, you really can tell how much passion they have for their music. They are so hard-working and deserve all the success in the world.

Yes, an amazing band. Highly dedicated to their music and their mission. They deliver heartfelt lyrics, and even promote Invisible Children. They are truly caring, terrific guys, each and every one, and I feel some of you people need to do more research before saying such nasty things about them. These guys are interested in their fans, and interested in having a real relationship with their fans. How many groups can you say that about, huh? JP and Benjamin were in The Profits, but neither Matt nor Jasper were. We The Living is separate from that. As far as I know, JP and Matt are from Baraboo, Benjamin's from Milwaukee, and I'm not sure about Jasper. Nevertheless, they are amazing, and deserve the recognition!!!

Guys, cool it on the anger over where they're from. He says they're from LA because that's what their myspace says, so the confusion is their fault, haha.

Anyway, I won't waste my time responding to the negativity, because if people want to hide behind their computers and spit out venomous trash at a band who deserves nothing but praise, that's their own problem.

We The Living is, in a word, amazing. They are passionate, friendly, hilarious, caring, and talented. They are out there doing their own thing and avoiding the clutches of a dying industry. They have good ideas and they're putting them to use. They deserve all the recognition in the world.

These guys are sweethearts, hardworking, and trying like mad to make a life out of their passion, which they happen to be quite good at. I give them all of the support and respect I can muster, as I know how hard it is to go from a life in small town Wisconsin to the great places they are headed now. Instead of tactless remarks, we should be appreciating their craft, or if we feel it necessary, giving what we can to respectfully show them what we think they may be lacking. After all, they are simply pursuing their dream, and no one should be discredited for that. Good job, We the Living, keep it up!

I'd just like to tell a quick story about the lead singer, John Paul Roney. We grew up in a very small town so everyone knew everything about everyone else; making the following exchange totally vomit-inducing.

This is what he said to a girl whose mother had hung herself:

JP- Yeah, I fucked your mom last night
the girl- My mom died years ago…
JP- I guess that's why she wasn't moving too much.

Is that the type of person you want to support? Not me! Not at fucking all!

WTL is gonna be HUGE HUGE HUGE!!! (They already are in my book). This is just another milestone in their success! I have never met a band before that cares so much about their fans! Being loyal to their fans is what has built many loyal fans of WTL in return… with groups such as the WE Team which rocks! With a voice like JP's they are bound for stardom! They are starting to broaden their tour dates but they never forget about us in Wisconsin! Can't wait to see them back in Milwaukee next week!
Yeah for Perez!… end of story. :)

Their music is their life and they're 100 percent dedicated to reaching and sharing it with as many people as they can. Quite frankly, I think its great music. It's really deep and full of amazing lyrics. Just listen to this song and try NOT to feel something. You can't. Every one of their songs make you think and feel. Give them a chance - and they're even better live.
