knowing first-hand how recording programs ACTUALLY work, I can say that she can sing. vocal programs and effects can only do so much to help a singer in the studio. believe me. the problem is that she apparently has half the range of any successful singer. her lyrics are shit. the melody is catchy. overall, i'd say it's on par with, maybe only slightly worse than the rest of the shit that's on the radio these days.

OK, here's the truth: I can't stand Heidi with Spencer, he's brainwashed her….I think if she kicked his sorry ass to the curb her career might improve a lot. She could get real people to help her and more supportive people. As far as the song goes:
A. The beat is good—I liked it a lot.
B. She needs to invest in singing lessons and shell out more money for production, etc if she wants to be taken seriously.
C. She should've layed off using the robotic sound, it was total overkill. It's cool for some parts but the whole song being like that sucks.
D. Her voice is boring—she needs to bring more soul and emotion to her singing.
E. Work on dancing…..make a REAL video with really good people….I'd use a song that's fast and has a good beat and lots of dancing.
I don't like you too much Heidi, if you are reading this—which I'm sure you are…..anyone that can stay with a man like that needs help. I was with a control freak like Spencer once and it isn't until you break away that you can be objective about it and realize how stupid it was to be with them. But I think that you could have some amount of success if you boot him and do this all properly. Your voice needs a lot of work but it is possible to better yourself as a singer and performer.
