A New Bitch In Town

Michelle Trachtenberg is pictured on the set of Gossip Girl Wednesday in NYC.

The Buffy alum is taking over the role offered to Mischa Barton, who thankfully declined - cuz her (non)career's so busy and shit!

Michelle will play Georgina Sparks.

Sparks will head to Manhattan, after a stint in rehab, and will shake up the life of Blake Lively's character, Serena van der Woodsen.

And, if she's lucky, she will get to make out with the newly single Chace Crawford!

    Why this show sucks:

    NO ON IN NYC WOULD BE CAUGHT DEAD WEARING TIGHTS…and the large extent of american apparel that she is wearing. Nor would any of us have such huge problems coordinating an outfit.

    THE SHOW TURNS A SOMEWHAT ACCURATE BOOK INTO A COMPLETE MESS OF STEREOTYPES! These douches turned a book about NY into a show that kids from suburbia would expect form NY.

    Why did Misha not take the role? Too good for tv? Gossip Girl is really popular, it might have helped her. I don't know anything that she has been in over 2 years.     Ms. Trachtenberg is a horror. Totally unprofessional. I worked on the set of Ice Princess for 9 days - she was constantly holding up the works and doing a piss poor job - take after take after take… Finally, on the last day (Canada Day in Toronto) she held the shoot for 9 HOURS…why? According to an assistant director: she didn't get what she wanted for lunch - and threw it at the AD who brought it to her - then locked herself in the trailer and refused to come out.
    Bitch.
