What a snooty girl! I hear a lot of "it's none of your business". If she feels that way, why is she stumping in public? Like mother, like daughter. We, the People don't have the right to transparency!

Go Obama!!! Our Pope of Hope!!!

  8. Nina says – reply to this

    Not first. Yay.

    She could've handled it better.
A witty comment would've look way better than that bitchy response.

That's the best she could come up with? I know there are better PR workers out there than that–she should have had a prepared statement for questions like that. She came off rude and very short–something her mother is capable of doing as well.

I may be biased, as a person in the PR field, but there is definitely a better way to handle that type of question.

She wasn't asked about Monica; she was asked about her mom's credibility. Typical for a Clinton - she avoided answering the question.

I love how she feels that she feels that she shouldn't be asked those kind of questions. The "hands off Chelsea" doesn't work if she's out on the campaign trail.

    19

Huh??!! Did I miss something…Was the question 'was your mothers credibility hurt because of the lewinsky debacle' and did she answer with 'thats none of your business' ????????

Rude. That person wasn't asking something about their personal lives but about how her mother was perceived after that.

    24

That was a terrible way to answer that!! What do you expect when your mother is running for president of the U.S? People are going to ask questions about your personal life. Get used to it!!

    25

    Truth hurts

  26. Cathy says – reply to this
    26

WTG! She's right… it's none of our business what MARITAL issues Hillary endured. That doesn't affect the fact that she would be an excellent leader.

  27. Teresa says – reply to this
    27

Interesting response. Personally I think her mother should have left him and if you can't keep your vows to your spouse what makes me think you can keep faithful to the American Public!!!

  28. Veronica says – reply to this
    28

What a bitch! She could have responded a little nicer. Down grade. I wasn't going to vote for Clinton anyway…

  34. Kelly says – reply to this

    clinton sucks

  35. K says – reply to this
    35

yeah that was pretty brave to ask that question!!

  36. LA Woman says – reply to this
    36

She answered like a reactive moron! The question posed to her was very relevant and it is our right as tax payers and citizens of this country to question the person who wants to run it. If she can't handle the heat, she should get out of the kitchen (or in this case, the campaign trail.)

  37. Danielle says – reply to this
    37

someone asks a real question that actually has some depth to it and she cant respond… way to help a campaign idiot

  38. alf says – reply to this
    38

Why isn't it any of her business? What a ludicrous reply. Aren't the Clintons just utterly pathetic?

  39. LA Woman says – reply to this
    39

The question was about her mother's CREDIBILITY (a relevant point); not Lewinsky.

  40. jade says – reply to this
    40

i think she did the right thing not answering that question. i would not to be asked a personal question about my parents, that was low.

  41. Kathy says – reply to this
    41

Good for her…its about time someone stands up and says "it's none of your business." We all have a past…why do they keep bringing it up. I thought C handled that well.

  42. Mike says – reply to this
    42

While I like her response on one hand, on the other she should have an answer prepared for this in the future. It is a legit question — whether it is right or not, the Monica Lewinsky scandal does (unfairly) hurt Hill's credibility.

  43. The Warden says – reply to this
    43

Chelsea is a cunt like her lying woman bashing mom. It was a very legitimate question to ask about a woman who has done EVERYTHING to conceal the criminal nature of her husband and herself, especially since she's running for President.

And Chelsea's response clearly shows she knows her evil mom is has no credibility.

Btw, let it be known that that so called Hillary did everything she can to smear the women who came out and acknowledged that they had affairs with Bill. So much for Hillary being a feminist. She stuck by a womanizing rapist. She's scum and so is her family.

  44. John says – reply to this

    Lets Go Clinton

  45. Britney's Scrunchie says – reply to this
    45

What a bitch?! BITCHES GET STUFF DONE!!!

  46. ebony says – reply to this
    46

Jillita, she's hardly a snob for not wanting to respond to something that has NOTHING to do with her mother's campaign. The person who asked was a dickhead for that question and she handled it very well.

  47. sheila says – reply to this
    47

Good for Chelsea. The question was rude and the only way to respond was in the manner that she did.

  48. erin says – reply to this
    48

That was an awesome response, it WAS none of their business. I think she handled it wonderfully.. I'm so voting for Chelsea when she runs..

  49. good on her! says – reply to this
    49

such a rude question…… it's like asking war vetrans if they killed anyone, you just don't do it!

  50. rbk says – reply to this
    50

    Good for her!

  51. L says – reply to this
    51

Poor Chelsea. You can tell she was completely floored by that. Who would expect that she would be the one asked a question about Monica. I understand people asking Hill or Bill, but don't ask Chelsea. That's her mom. Very disprespectful.

  52. mimi says – reply to this
    52

Granted that the question might have been a bit off putting..
but her answer was AWFUL .. CHEAP .. and not thought…
she gave a Viseral response to a potentially valid answer she could have answer the question in such a way that it answer the potential relevant question and at the same time closed the gossip part of it …
what a shame .. she could have shined on such a difficult question yet she choose to be a little brat and answer with that sort of attitude

  53. stefanie says – reply to this
    53

    good for her!!
maybe chelsea will run in about 20 years!

  54. ANN says – reply to this
    54

It's about time someone stopped ignoring the elephant in the room. It's a perfectly obvious question and the fact that she didn't have an appropriate answer is.. well, pretty stupid. She was asked about her mother's credibility and that IS everyone's business in a presidential race. Politics is all spin, honey. She better learn how to avoid getting dizzy.

  55. JPee says – reply to this
    55

She looks like a Horse. Ahh, who am I kidding, I still fuck her.

  56. Jon says – reply to this
    56

You go Chelsea!!! I am so glad she responded so directly and sharply! Now if onlly her mother could be so direct in her answers to questions. Hil - We love ya and want you to win, but quit beating around the bush. Say it loud and proud!

  57. obama says – reply to this
    57

    whatev.

  58. Karen says – reply to this

Damn right. Her husband's affair hurt her HUSBAND'S credibility. Not hers.

  59. Bobo says – reply to this
    59

My Alma Mater is amazing…We're no dummies! Way to ask a good question!! She should have answered it; she already acknowledged the fact it was the first time anyone's asked it…

  60. Hanapana says – reply to this
    60

Way to go INDIANA for asking the tough question! And…yeah Chelsea, it IS our business.
If your mom and dad can't focus on their own marraige to prevent catastrophies within their own home…how the hell can we trust them to focus on our nation to prevent WORLDWIDE catastrophies?

  61. Jackie says – reply to this
    61

That was below the belt. At the end of the day Hilary Clinton is a person and we need to respect that. Lets stay focus on the politics that are important not the drama or the scandals that can be pulled.

  62. Fair Question says – reply to this
    62

It's a fair question, but certainly nothing that would have an impact on how her mother would be as a president. So yeah, none of their business!

  63. flovebunny says – reply to this
    63

    HA!

That wasn't a good way to handle it, but it really wasn't that person's business.

  64. Allie says – reply to this
    64

Wow, that was bitchy. Maybe if it happened to a normal person, it wouldn't be anyone else's business, but Hilary is running for office as OUR President…so it kind of makes it our business. Not a fan…

  65. Nicole says – reply to this
    65

You go Chelsea! Way to put her in her place!

  66. sarah says – reply to this
    66

terrible response - absolutely void of character in that response.
and of course its public - thats what happens when in politics or a celebrity. besides, im SICK of women standing by their man in the face of adultery and prostitution! ANSWER THE QUESTION!! hilary has yet to acknowledge that it ever happened. LAME

  67. Dana says – reply to this
    67

wow- for any of you to say that was an awful response is just rediculous. If you were Chelsea, do you think that if you were trying to boost morale for your mothers campaign that you would want to even put any focus on what her father did WRONG? that was a situation that, im sure, hurt Chelsea and Hilary deeply. Therefore, of course she will answer a question even mentioning Lewinsky with a bitter response. have some heart. GO HILLARY!

i'm sorry, but she had the perfect opportunity to make her mom look better. just say, "well, as i can tell by the success of her campaign so far, it obviously hasn't affected her credibility in a way that is noticeable or critical." seriously. bitch runs in that family. i consider myself a republican, i don't even support hillary in the slightest, and i could have answered that question better.

  71. who cares? says – reply to this
    71

does it matter? no. It's just another distraction from the fact that her mother is losing in the popular vote, number of pledged delegates, and number of states won.

It doesn't matter, but if it helps you feel better about your candidate, wrap yourself up in this and enjoy it while you can.

I think she was so taken aback that she didn't know how to respond. That was a horrible time for Chelsea (and her family) so I am sure if she wasn't so stunned she would have/could have thought of something more eloquent.

  74. NUNYA says – reply to this
    74

She handled it the same way any other candidates relatives would have. For example: Laura Bush and the death of her boyfriend back in the day.
    NUNYA.

And in the year 2039 when she's running for President of the free world, she'll recall that harrowing experience when a rabid student tackled her to the ground and foaming at the mouth demanding an answer to that question…….. and then they'll just cut to the tape. Once a Clinton (liar) always a Clinton (liar). Tsk.

Go Chelsea. Good reaction I think, she basically eluded to the fact that this sort of question is incredibly rude and inappropriate given the context. You might expect a question like that from a reporter and directed at Hillary herself, but from a college student and directed at her daugther. It's just rude to ask a daughter to comment on her parents marital difficulties, especially since it in no way affects Hillary's credibility as a presidential candidate (making the question about credibility does not make the question acceptable, it just shows the tenacity of the person asking the question, ie. that they tried really hard to make the question relevant to the subject matter, when everyone can see that it is not).

  81. well
