As a young woman, I don't think that my generation is really feeling Oprah anymore. She's out-of-date and too gawdy. I discussed this with a friend of mine recently, and she said that she's turned off by the huge jewelry that Oprah wears, just showing off her wealth. Sure, she helps people, and that's totally commendable. But Ellen is just more down-to-earth and fresh. We love Ellen. I live in Flagstaff, and let me tell you, it was HUGE when she came to town last fall!

Spent Christmas in Canada, had tv on to catch up on my favorite shows. Love Ellen and never watched a single Oprah. She learned her lesson about changing the world when her sitcom got cancelled for trying to make a "coming out of the closet statement" instead of making people laugh, pure and simple.
