On a sad but not totally shocking note, 'fake' Heath Ledger memorabilia - posters from Ledger's last completed film, Dark Knight, and 'signed' photographs - are being peddled in Los Angeles to tourists.

Anything to make a buck! So gross.

A source close to the Ledgers reports that Heath's family "are appalled" that Heath's name is being used to dupe true fans, "They're furious that pirates are cashing in on his death."

Reps for Dark Knight confirmed that any film memorabilia out there are fakes, "There are no Dark Knight posters or memorabilia connected to the movie on sale yet. We are investigating how they have been pirated."

We don't mind so much selling posters and shiz, but passing off signed pictures as authentic when they are not????

Wrong. Wrong. Wrong!

      there are tonnes of fake autographed pictures out there, from stores to ebay, and tonnes of dead celebrities photos have fake autographs on them, Heath's is no different - big deal

      You know what really is wrong, Heath Ledger's family taking his money. I believe that his family should just give everything to his little girl. If it were me, I would not touch a penny from that inheritance and I would give it all to his little girl. His family should do the right thing.       My work always gets movie crap months and months and months before their releases.
      Hot Topic has had Dark Knight/ Heath Ledger shirts since before his death.
      I would know because my store got the shipment at the beginning of the year.
