Lindsay Lohan's spotlight-lovin' daddy (unsurprisingly) can't keep his trap shut when it comes to the life of LaLohan.

Michael Lohan was at the finale taping of Celebrity Apprentice in NYC on Thursday night and blabbed to reporters about his recovering(?) addict daughter.

First, Daddy Lohan isn't thrilled that Lindz is going to play a cult follower in the upcoming Charles Manson movie.

"I really hope that Lindsay gets back to the kinds of films that led to her success. I'd like to see her do more mainstream films," he says. "When you're the kind of star Lindsay is, you have to appeal to a general audience, not just a specific audience."

What? He didn't like it when she played a stripper recently????

Also, Michael is pleased that the Linds/Callum Best sex tape rumors have been put to rest, for now.

"You don't know what people put out there anymore," he says. "So many people have hidden cameras. Our private lives are our private lives — people don't respect that."

No wonder Linds seems to have 'issues'. She has the fame-seeking-at-her-expense Orange Oprah and Daddy Lohan as parents!

    I HATE it when parents of celebs think they are celebs too just because their child is…….the same goes for kids who think they are celebs just because their parents are. Yeah some people use their children or parents to get a foot in the door to do something like become an actor/actress or a designer or whatever but when they do nothing but sit around and still think they deserve to be in the spotlight……that is just stupid.
