Also, unexpectedly (and previously announced), Jay-Z and Neil Diamond will also headline the festivities.

Since her cancer scare, and no one would wish that on anyone, this woman has become obsessed with self-promotion and her looks. Despite undergoing medical treatment, the way she looks now is so unlike her younger days. In some pix her skin is so tight and smooth it looks like plastic. Her face looks completely remodelled. I guess Glastonbury is just another opportunity to promote herself. Ms Minogue's music has always been on the light side (dare I say pop fluff?) and now that she is getting older and the pop princess label is looking a bit tired, it's almost as if she's trying to make as much money and be in the public eye as much as possible before time runs out. I mean she's even promoting a line of bed linen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Her over-exposure in the media is causing her to become a bore. Yesterday in her home town of Melbourne (where I live) our reputable paper ran a story about her planning to marry that French guy she was with who jumped ship. Yawn… At least he had the sense to see that continuing a relationship with someone as self-obsessed as Ms Minogue would be disastrous. Yet he was maligned and criticized for leaving Saint Kylie. It is almost as if the woman is beyond criticism due to having been ill. Ms Minogue is a woman of average singing talent but with a huge talent for playing the media and publicity game. Ticket sales are very strong and have sold out in minutes in many other countries besides the UK. Now, as for whether or not you think she's any good or not is a matter of personal opinion, and personal opinion only, but MILLIONS of music buyers around the globe seem to think she's actually pretty good at what she does, and that's ENTERTAINING and communicating with her audience.
