This is one of the best interviews ever!
Singer/songwriter Adam Green (of the now defunct Moldy Peaches) was a guest this past weekend on TV Total, one of the biggest TV shows in Germany.
Unfortunately for him and fortunately for us, he got so pissed drunk before the show and gave quite a memorable appearance.
The uncomfortableness of the host and the audience, especially when Green keeps joking about fighting in the Iraq war, is priceless!

WTF? i hate that adam green ass… he's stupid and his music SUCKS! i'm sorry but why would u appear drunk on a nationwide show beeing watched by millions of people? IMAGE? it make's him even more hateable! i don't know if that's a word, but I HATE HIM!

Hilarious, the host just turns around and makes fun of him while he does doesn't understand a word. Then he tries to speak German and its complete non sense. Why did they even let him on TV like that?? Major case of has-been..
true: the person making stefan raab uncomfortable isn't born yet! so adam green thought he was pulling a cool stunt coming drunk to a to a tv show. but i think the host and the audience were rather bored because green really wasn't funny. they're both used to more interesting guests who have to tell something. and the war only got mentioned once, nothing spectacular. the germans feel only one good thing about this war and that's their absence from it.
and…yeah…perez would be a great guest at tv total - germans don't censor anything about gay people, you can even get married in germany. i went to a gay wedding, best wedding i've ever been to!

How effing funny…I saw this guy in Blackpool, UK before a Strokes show. One of the Strokes put his head over the balcony during Adam Green's set and the crowd went mental, shouting for them and totally ignored Adam Green. He got really offended and was like 'hey, dude that's totally uncool!'

Just one thing…
It's "TV total" and not "TV Total"
But it's really great to read a news where a German and an American Guy are involved and the american plays the bad role
And not even near to a scandal in Germany. This is the Stefan Raab daily and thigs like that funny movie is exactly what this show is standing for. Just watch it…
stefan raab is the best man ever and he just want to translate something, but not every german knows what "kautz" is in english…
and adam green shouldn't trink so much alcohol, in the last tv total show there was a monkey and its behaviour was better than adam greens^^

I'm really astonished about the abusively deployment in comments about this clip. It's rather unimportant if it's stupid or not. Some like it, some don't.
In the following i would like to use "you" in my explanation and anybody should know whether i talk to him/her or not:
How did you get to the comments on Obama? Sure, election year in the U.S. and many people are looking hopefully to you in the whole world.
I thought Obama is a really adequate candidate, and maybe I'm wrong. In Germany it's not in that way present in our media. And if you don't have so much training in english vocabulary (thanks to leo.org for helping me to write this, if you find errors…write them
) it could be exhausting to follow some really interesting but rare interviews or other telecasts.
I don't know what you usually think about your election-system, my only suggestion would be to prohibit campaign contribution, so that every candidate has the same chance to talk about his politics, and not only those who are the favorites of your industrial complex or other wealthy lobbies…

The other thing is your annoying discussion about each other's IQ on the basis of what others like or not, the way they are speaking or thinking or what else you think you know about each other.
Maybe someone said: real inteligence is to be able to talk and have fun in every "mental level" you want to. And if you like people, in this/OUR(=human beings) world, you should want it in any way
At the end I wanna let you know. The fewest are really hating americans…maybe some think this, but most of them hate some of your political activities and the annoying habit of (some of?) your president('?)s habit to raise your economy above other really…really important things. Maybe it is a matter of opinion sometimes but i don't think, if there is only a minal risk to endanger the future of our childrens' planet…we should act careful to prevent this!
