      This picture just goes to show what losers we all are…we're so conditioned, controlled… Beauty is supposed to be subjective and after I read the title "Stars without makeup" something was triggered in my subconscious so that she looked pretty ratty in the picture…. Then I read the comments and I look again and it seems that yeah, she IS still beautiful. It's crazy…when the truth is, she's probably not beautiful at all to me…sans makeup or not…she'd probably be lost on me if not for people telling me she's beautiful… I actually don't connect with any image as much as Angelina Jolie's…I question many of today's icons… Shall I list them?

      Are you saying you don't think these woman are attractive?? That's unusual so I applaud you for being different. But there is someone there for everyone. I learnt in phsych that people admire people who resemble them in some way. ie a sporty pretty cheerful bue eyed blonde would often love the Kate Hudson look because in many ways they see in her something they can realistically emulate. I think the x factor people talk about is having that something that loads of people relate to. It transcends class race and politics and therefore makes them very relatable and hence popular. All of those people are that to their fans (obviously some are more popular and talented than others). So, theres a celeb or 2 out there for everyone. I have brown eyes and brown hair and I think Jenn Lo, Jess A, Natalie P are btfl and I sometimes emulate their style. But I also love the Kates (Moss, Cruise, Hudson, Blanchet and the one in superman) cos they have personality traits and lifestyles I admire.
