Many people don't realize what an impact she had on what is now the "latino" movement in the music world. She is and always will be missed.

I only found her music shortly after she died. She had a wonderful voice then I saw the movie of her life and it made me cry. She was such a wonderful young person and didn't deserve to go that way. I wish she could still be here today because I think she would be on top of it all. I also think she deserved to be on top of it all unlike some celebs today.

Selena, my idol…..She had THE voice of an angel…she was beautiful inside and out, she could dance like no other…and she was kind and humble….always respected and appreciated her fans. Guess God wanted her a lil closer to him. RIP Selena, YOU WILL NEVER BE REPLACED or forgotten!!!

Its just a terrible terrible shame that this happened to such a talented and amazing person, may her spirit live on forever thru her music and in all of her fans hearts. I will celebrate her life tonight with my daughter by watching the Selena movie for about the millionth time

Thank you for posting this, it brought back so many amazing memories. I am from Corpus Christi and as a little girl saw her perform many times. She is unarguably the best Latina artist ever!!

she was a famous person who actually had talent…Today's celebs and singers usually have horrible voices, but I think this video shows that she had a beautiful voice, and she really did help put latinas on the map in the entertainment industry.

Selena was a big fan of Donna Summer, love the Disco Medley that she did from that concert!
I live here in Corpus Christi, and I wasnt a big fan of hers but i remember living in some apartments that are by the cemetary she is buried at and every year on her b-day and the date she died, there are tons of people there..they still go there every year. She was a beautiful woman and had a great voice. Her grave site is on of the most beautful I have ever seen.

Such a MONUMENTAL loss to music and fans EVERYWHERE!!! Shot down in the infancy of her career. Selena would have become a HUGE star!!! She had just barely gotten started!!! Music, Fashion, and I'm sure acting was right around the corner. Her light and sweet voice have been missed but will never be forgotten. I wish her family comfort today and hope they know her fans still play her music, and think of her more often than not!

Still heart breaking after all this time. I just don't think fans can ever get over her being gone. So many great things were just on the horizon. I think we were just getting a glimpse as to how great she would have become. Such a great heart and good soul…she will always be missed.
We were truly blessed to have her even if it was for a short time.
I'm going to listen to my Amor Prohibido CD as soon as I get home. She could interpret a song like nobody's business regardless of language.

this is the first time I ever post something, Selena was sooo talented I think her best years were about to come when she got robbed of her life, she was just starting to come up with songs in english and she had such a GREAT voice, she would have gone sooooo far…. so sad
