Wow. This is rare. An artist admitting they were wrong…and doing something about it!
Janet Jackson is unhappy with her video for Rock With U.
So???
She's doing it over again!
Miz Jackson does not heart the clip so her record label, Island Def Jam, held crisis talks all weekend long with the vid's director, Saam Farahmand, to sort the shizz out!!!
Farahmand was given 24 hours to pitch new ideas for a 'make good' video and instructed to have a shoot ready for this coming weekend.
It is believed that this is the primary reason why the original Rock With U video has been pulled from music channels BET, VH1 and MTV.
We agree with Janet. The Rock With U video could be lots better. The dance sequences aren't bad. But, overall we felt like a sober person trapped in a party filled with people high on E. And you know how stupid intoxicated people look when you are sober!
Janet deserves beyond brilliant!

wow nothin' is gonna save that tired video! I wasted my money on that cd. Boy it is one constant BOREFEST! The only good or should I say half decent songs r feedback and rock with…she looks like a freakin alien in this pic, the flip through for the cd, she looks hot. I'm scratching my head. Janet was a leader. Now, she just seems boring and a poor, childish writer. The lyrics sound like they were written by a 16 year old. While artist's age and have an insight and write about them, Janet lives in a "Jackson Freak Bubble".

if this is true this is why Janet is such a boring artist. every one knows madonna is fully in charge of her carreer and as an artist uses everything that has or is happening to her to create a video or album. when she read memiores of a geisha she decided her video for nothing really matteres would pay homage to that book, when she saw metropolis she made express yourself and put ion more money then her record label was willing to pay just so that the video looked amazing. janet has people deciding what she will look like, what her videos will look like and there fore she creates boring art. nothing is personal nothing makes you want to know more about her. you can be an artist and have poeple write your songs- celine dion does it but celine has a voice with at least three octives. janets awful head vioce is just really bad and we can't keep listening to the same song over and over again.

I LOVED the video…I could understand why the public wasn't big on it because with many of her videos it was very unlit and hard to see but i thought the dance moves were so awesome and original. I think the public is gonna wanna see something bubbly and bright like her All For You video..

It was an april fools joke. It's not being reshot, thank god, cuz why spend the money for another video to a song that has no chance in the US. Perhaps this will do well in Europe. It's got that European sound going on.
The choreography in this video is tight. She really is the queen of the intricate dance scene.

Evertime I watched the video I thought that it could be better. I think the dancing was great. The outfits and scenery were over the top. I think she would look sexier in a wife beater and jeans and make it sort of "Pleasure Principle-ish" Plus the hair was horrible. But I love every song I've heard off the album so far.

There was nothing wrong with the original video but I still suspect that Janet is not getting her own input. Her videos will always ROCK to me, she is the first true video icon who has set the standard for music video I just look at all her previous videos and know that they are all first class and she is the leader not the follower…
