Fighting For Her Baby!

Madonna is due in Malawi next week in what may be the final (thankfully!) court ruling on whether or not she can finish adopting her son, adorable little David Banda.
Her Madjesty began the adoption process back in 2006 after first meeting David in a local orphanage in Malawi, one of the poorest countries in the world. It is estimated that there are approximately 1 million orphans in the area, many of which are unfortunately infected with the HIV virus!!!
In February of this year, Patricia Kaliati, the Malawian Information Minister, praised Madonna's efforts to raise awareness on gathering support for orphans in the area. She went on to say it would be wrong for the government to deny Madonna's adoption of little David.
Madonna will be flying in next Tuesday, as reported by a senior official at Lilongwe International Airport. The official confirmed that her jet was cleared for landing on April 8th.
The main controversy over the adoption deals with the current laws that ban non-residents from adopting children in Malawi. Thankfully, Malawi's government is amending its adoption laws.
She sang about it. Now, it's real. Madonna's keeping her baby!

He's not her baby! The mother is reportedly still alive and wants her son back because he was adopted when in his father's care who misunderstood that they would never get their son back. It's all good and well to adopt children from third world countries (although why celebrities can be holding their new child within the week when it takes others years to go through the process is beyond me) but this child is not one of the '1 million' orphans. It's just plain wrong - maybe someone should give Madonna adoption papers for Lourdes written in a language she doesn't understand and deprive her of legal aid. So wrong.

She should have been respectful of Malawi's adoption law and set an example for other people looking to adopt rather than throwing her weight around and trying to circumvent the system.

DAVID WAS NOT AN ORPHAN.
If she really wanted to help David, she would have left him with his family and his father and his culture and then put her money into his family and community so that they can all improve their lives. HE would NOT have died like she claimed he would if she didn't take him. All she would have had to do was pay the same amount to his family as she paid trying to take him away from his family, they would have lived like kings over there.
Selfish = taking a living souvenier back home with you so that they can be "grateful" to you for the rest of their lives and elevate your status within the communtiy to sainthood. PEople really fall for that "oh she was so wonderful to have adopted this poor baby" crap while the nanny takes care of all the difficult duties.
SelfLESS= Doing something for others that does not involve personal gain i.e supporting a community rather than taking one of their members to call your own.
