Here's the latest buzz surrounding the spinoff!
Andrea Zuckerman's daughter supposedly pops up in the pilot script! Her daughter, Hannah Zuckerman-Vasquez, is reportedly the host of the school's Blaze news show. Unfortch, she only graces the screen in one quick scene. Maybe the scene will start with parents Andrea and Jesse dropping her off at school?!
The guy writing the pilot reportedly has his heart set on Jennie Garth reprising her role as Kelly Taylor, who would now be a fashion design teacher at BHHS. But, Garth has signed on to shoot a CBS pilot this season, so who knows if that will fly!
AND, rumor has it that some of the series regulars will TP the Spelling mansion in that first ep as an homage to the original show.
Good luck getting Candie Spelling to agree to that!

Perez–get your 90210 facts straight
1. First off, Andrea and Jesse got a divorce in the last season of 90210 (Andrea showed up at the high school Reunion and told them)
2. Kelly was not the fashion designer…it was Donna who had the degree in fashion design (Kelly just worked at the store). Kelly's degree was in social services.
3. Jenny Garth (Kelly) has not aged well (do we not remember how she looked on dancing with the stars last year) so not sure that many people want to see her reprise that role…nobody wants to think of Kelly Taylor as fugged up pre-middle age.

I was going to say the same thing about Donna being the designer and not Kelly. I would love to see Kelly in the show maybe as the guidance counselor or something! I LOVED this show when it was on. Hannah was born in May 1994. So she'd be just a freshmen in high school this fall (unless she was advanced…which is possible).
What they should do is get Erin Silver (Kelly and David's little sis) on because she was born in spring 1992… making her about 16 and a junior in high school, which would be perfect! Then we can get Kelly, David, Donna, back on there.

First, I prefer Brazilian men to Puerto Rican men.
Second you all remember way to much about 90210, but yet am kind of jelous!
Third, I think Tori should be on it, of course I have no idea where she ended up at the end of the show but she is wonderful. Besides writers can always create job changes if Jenny or Tori were to be on it (or anyone else, I mean adoption of an older child could happen, Brandon was a do-gooder).
I just don't think anyone is really going to watch that… not our generation….
This already sounds like a bust!!! First, Kelly wasn't into fashion design; it was Donna, so it would make more sense for her to be the teacher. Second, Jesse and Andrea moved out of state or to S.F. so that's dumb to put the daughter in…and please don't have the wannabe Dylan McKay guy on it?!? Scrap the script and start over with new people and hopefully, new problems for the kids? If the writers can't write the pilot correctly, how are they gonna write the whole season? Think about it!!

To be honest for us that grew up in the 90210 generation what is there really to get excited about? It's not like they are reuniting the entire cast and continuing where they left off in the 90's. It's proably going to be a cast of no bodys that are living in the zip code but have nothing to do with the previous show what so ever.
