    buffy: not all British people pronounce 'th' as 'fr', that's just around London and the South East. Perhaps if you Americans stopped assuming that London is the only place in England and realised that other big cities exist as well you would know there are a variety of different accents.

That would be the guy that replaced him at his beloved Manchester United - Christiano Ronaldo. Beckham has made a little talent go a long way and the Beckham Brand has been sold to you like soap powder! As for the Armarni Ad - The current England goalkeeper was the first footballer to model for Armarni and that was ten years ago, but he was humble enough not to go on Jay Leno and brag about it. But Beckham is paid £125m to play football for a team who lost the season opener 4-0! You've been had! As as for thier 'fame' - they say flies follow shit.

Football (soccer) will never EVER become as big as baseball or american football, so that obviously wasn't very good of an investment.
