Jenny McCarthy Is Fucking Amazing!

While helping to raise awareness for autism, which her son has, and discussing the possible causes (including too many vaccinations for toddlers), this happened between Jenny McCarthy and one of the other panelists on Larry King Live last night.

You go girl!

I feel sad for her. She needs to realize that vitamins and diet cannot soley cure autism. Also, the false hope and misinformation she is giving is unfortunate.

the vaccination/autism link is an emotional issue. Jenny does a great job defending her position, which is more about the safety of vaccines than the link. But vaccines save many many lives and that shouldn't be discounted.

She's screeching about something, and getting all emotional about it, without sticking to the facts. Do you know how many more children would die if they WEREN"T vaccinated?!

This is just another idiotic celebrity, using their fame and shrillness, to spout off about something they know nothing about. I get it, her son has autism, I get it, she's read a few things about it, but did she go to med school for 9 years? NO. Does she really know what the statistics are about REAL vaccine-related "INJURY"??? NO. She's no better than the idiot scientologists that scream about meds for depression.

Celebrity+podium+lack of knowledge = LUDDITE TROLL

Ya - Jenny rocks. Good for her, all these asshole trying to tell her & a million other parents of autistic kids that vaccinations have no relevance. Meanwhile it is documented fact that they can cause a variety of illnesses in young children. I met her a few weeks ago when she was taping a talk show in Toronto. She is so passionate about this cause…wow

    30

she is right. i am not vaccinating my son until he is 2. people need to start thinking about what they are putting into their little ones before they just do as they are told. ask questions and make a decision that is best for your family. vaccinations are BIG BUSINESS!

    44

Children who are not vaccinated are a health risk to other children. there is a correlation between autism and vaccinations because most children are diagnosed with autism around the same time they are getting a number of vaccinations. It is an illusory correlation and nothing else. Autism is a brain disorder.

  45. kristi says – reply to this

    45

She came accross too emotional and not intellegent.. you shouldn't cuss on the air… it lowers the class level of the conversation…. and thats too bad because she might have had a good point in there somewhere

  46. Melanie says – reply to this

    46

I'm SOOOO tired of people bitching about vaccinations and how bad they are. The benefits clearly outweigh the risk. If you're too stupid to realize that. don't vaccinate your kids. When they die a preventable death from a disease that we have vaccinations for, I bet you change your mind :D

  47. Christina says – reply to this

    52

perez dont support something that you know NOTHING ABOUT! there are outbreaks and children dying of the mumps now because of their parents listening to people like jenny. KIDS NEED THEIR VACCINATIONS! there is NO ACTUAL PROOF THAT IT CAUSES AUTISM!!! there is a side effect to every drug in the world, but if our children are not being vaccinated DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW BAD IT WOULD GET??? CHILDREN WOULD BE DYING OF DISEASES THAT HAVE NOT BEEN AROUND FOR HUNDREDS OF YEARS! JENNY NEEDS TO DO A LITTLE MORE RESEARCH HERSELF!

  53. ck says – reply to this

    53

I freakin love this women. I have a Nephew that went into seizures after a vaccine and now has autism. There IS a link and that is why they no longer to Chicken Pox shots mixed with the others like they were doing. That right there tells me there IS a link. DOH!

  54. furby says – reply to this

    54

Good girl. I love Jenny for doing this. But the problem isn't too many vaccinations - it's vaccinations as a whole. There is mercury in all of our vaccines and it's causing an alarming rate of autism all over the place. Mercury is highly dangerous (obviously) yet they are putting it into our vaccines, makeup, etc. Ask yourself why. Maybe it's because they want everyone to be completely unstable and unaware so they can continue to fuck us over by forming a global government that dictates our every move and we can't do anything about it. Take action. Spread the word. Research it. Plenty of scientists and doctors who have come forward with this and we need to stop it NOW.
Along side of that - think of what would happen if we had government run health care? Vaccines would be injected to everyone and everything. They already basically run the prescription meds and look what it's doing to us. Don't vote for Hillary, Obama, OR McCain! They all want the same thing - power. Don't believe their quirky attitudes - stand up. Do something. Or it will kill us. Ignorance is bliss.

  55. Grace E. says – reply to this

    55

Need evidence that vaccines cause autism before ever taking the disease figthting and life saving vaccines from children. fact
If your child is not vaccinated, he or she can die or be permanently and severly harmed from known and preventable disease. Fact
Not a fact is that vaccines cause autism.
Autism has also been caused by illegal drug use and genetics. fact.
    Autism needs more study. fact.

As a daughter and a sister of people with autism, I hate that people think of autism as being debilitating, it is an alternative way of being, not everyone wants a cure, not everyone thinks that they are debilitated. I understand how hard it is for people who havent been exposed to it to think that it is a terrible terrible problem, But my brother and my father would never choose any other way of living

    ur comments are so ignorant.

shes not saying to abolish all shots…watch the ENTIRE INTERVIEW.
its about the fact that we are a soceity that is over medicated…for things we dont necessary need.

  67. Tina Jones says – reply to this

    67

WTF???? she is nuts!! I appreciate the fact that she loves her son and wants what is best for him BUT she is NOT a doctor, not even close so she needs to get it together and not act so pitifully rude and arrogant. Hopefully a cure will be found and she is def helping it be brought to light but she got a little nutty,, maybe too much Jim Carey lately!

  68. misdiagnosed says – reply to this

    68

She is an idiot….geeeeee, I wonder if her kid's seizures had anything to do with him stopping talking. She is filling parents' heads with ideas that are mostly bullshit, and then parents take it out on professionals who have to work with the kids!!!!

  69. Lg says – reply to this

    69

she is not saying stop these vaccinations she is saying not all at once, she is saying "too much too soon" there is a HUGE difference

  72. kelofnc says – reply to this

as a mother of a beautiful 2 year old, I have agree. They are given way to many and way to soon. She isn't saying you shouldn't have them but spread them out, not so many at one time. It is time that as parents that we decide what is right for our children vs the drs.

She should shut her f'in mouth and take her shirt off! Why do chicks that became famous by getting naked think that they have all the answers? Just keep quiet and show me them titties, Jenny!

  76. melissa says – reply to this

    76

Listen, Jenny McCarthy should be a z-lister ….

Anyone who knows anything about autism wouldn't go off and continue to give such heavy support for being anti-vaccinations! If you don't vaccinate your chidlren you could end up with dead children - and killing other children….please please please get your children VACCINATED! If anyone has a problem with this I would be happy to send you MANY scientific articles that have been published in journals that analyze autism and vaccines at a scientific level.

    80

for those of you that are saying that vaccines save lives…of course they do? but do you know the current vaccination schedule? babies are given hep B shots at 6 HOURS old!! seriously? they can only get hep b from sex and needles…do we really need to give them that vaccine? 4 shots every other month and an oral from birth on seems ridiculous. but the APA approves it? there is a difference between wanting to save children with vaccines an giving them all at once. That is alot for a babies body!

I have followed a delayed vaccination schedule because i have extensivley and cautiously followed this topic. but many, if not most moms just follow what their pedi says…the research individuals can do is alot more on this specific topic than they do in medical school. in medical school they study what the AMA APA says…

  81. wiebeski says – reply to this

    81

You go girl!! She's not speaking out against vacinations, they're proven to prevent horrible cildhood and adult illnesses that over the course of history have killed millions. She is simply saying, as she put it "it's too much, too soon!" and the ingredients of some of these vaccines can cause severe allergic reactions, especially in YOUNG children. What she's suggesting is that we re-examine the schedule of vaccines we give our children today! Fewer at a time and over a longer course! Makes sense to me!!!!

  82. Mom says – reply to this

    82

Sorry but she is just plain wrong. My baby was an hour away from dying at 5 weeks old from Meningitis - a disease which is preventable with the Prevnar vacine given at SIX weeks of age. What would I rather have - a dead child or a live one with a slight risk (not even proven) of autism. Give me the risk over a dead baby any day.

her son died? i had no idea…so sad

  85. Electric says – reply to this

    85

More like Jenny McCarthy is fucking stupid. Vaccines don't cause autism. That's a huge and unfortunate myth…hopefully her dumb rant won't make people not vaccinate their kids. Scientists don't know what causes autism, but they do know some things that don't cause autism-vaccinations are one of the things that don't cause it. If it did, there would be a lot more autism.

  86. beki says – reply to this

    86

My children were not vaccinated unitl they were older then 2 and they are both Autistic. Research is now showing that there may be a link to family and it being genetic. Yes its good to see someone so passionate about Autism but it cant be soley blamed on the MMR jab

  87. Maggie says – reply to this

    87

She is an ignorant parent who wants someone to blame for her child's disability. You people need to do your research. The professionals (who hold degrees and licenses in the medical field) were trying to correct her madness but were not allowed due to the fact that Larry King is such a biased liberal program. How immature and unprofessional of Jenny McCarthy to get that heated and use profanity. Not impressed at all.

  88. Erica says – reply to this

    88

My daughter is four and has whats called "high functioning autism" autism is not an emotional disorder it has many other factors and I agree with her. My daughter was in the NICU for 4 months, while she was in there a month before she was due to be born they started giving my three pound baby the same amount of the vaccine they would give a normal three month old! Crazy! I am like her I am not against vacinations I am against the fact that doctors (A.think they are God, most of the time) and B. think they are one size fits all and they AREN'T! Educate yourselves people!

    91

Actually she's spreading A LOT of misinformation to parents on how to "cure" Autism.

  92. Jessica says – reply to this

    92

People that are disagreeing with Jenny needs to understand her position. She isn't saying stop the vaccinations. She is saying that children are getting TOO MANY, TOO SOON. Thats what she's saying. She doesn't want to stop the vaccinations. She wants to spread them out and slow them down.

  93. Jordan says – reply to this

    93

Yeah, because someone says bullshit on tv their point is right, yo go girl, yea faggy "yo go girls" for all of america, whooptee do

you are dumbing this country down single handedly fatboy

  94. skeletor says – reply to this

    94

Re: shesnotadoctor – hey dumbass, only retards go to med school for nine years. as for jenny, good for her for not taking any of that bullshit and calling him out on it on live television.

  95. mimi says – reply to this

    95

She isn't saying NOT to get your children vaccinated but that they may not need ALL of them. In 1980 children received 10 vaccinations now we are giving them around 36 and most by the age of 2. This is probably a bit much and should be looked into especially considering the how much the drug companies earn by these extra vaccinations. It is worth as a parent to do more research. Some vaccinations are a most, a few more could be ok but all 36 is not needed. GO JENNY!!!

  96. B79MOXIE says – reply to this

    96

VACCINES AND AUTISM-THERE IS A LINK. THE AMISH COMMUNITY DOESN'T DO VACCINES AND DOESN'T HAVE AUTISM BUT 1 IN 166 CHILDREN IN THE US DOES!?!?!??!?! PUT IT TOGETHER PEOPLE!

  97. elle says – reply to this

    97

It is amazing that people who have no knowledge of anthing autism or vaccine related feel they are entitled to have an opinion.
While I do not necessarily agree with Jenny, I support her right to share her views and the furvor with which she voices them.

  98. cg says – reply to this

    98

Her son should not be the posterchild for autism (she makes it out to be that he has been cured), and while raising awareness is great, she needs to stick to the research. Despite millions of dollars in research and infinite studies, there is still no correlation between vaccinations and autism. And while all of these parents are stopping their children from being vaccinated, autism remains to be on the rise. While it would be wonderful to find such a simple answer, there is not one. And what makes it worse is that people will believe what a famous person says before they look into it themselves….

  99. Gary says – reply to this

    99

Jenny McCarthy is not a doctor, and is not qualified to make statements like this. There have been several huge studies done that show NO LINK between autism and vaccines - not to mention common sense people. Think about it - how many millions and millions of people over several generations have had these vaccines, including me? If that were true, we'd all have autism. This is sad - she's a mother, it's easy to understand her feelings - but she's all wrong…and so are those of you supporting her.

  100. Claire says – reply to this

    100

I'm so afraid to give my infant vaccines, he's only had three so far. I know I'll HAVE to get his vaccinations eventually and when I do I'm going to videotape him for two days before he gets the shots and then after he gets the shots as proof in case something happens. Over 80% of moms with autistic children said their child was absolutely fine before the shots. I'm frightened to even think of something like that happening to my kid…
