Magnum McConogay

When they run out of original scripts, they resort to taking ideas from television.
Universal Pictures is making an adaption of the '80s TV show Magnum P.I., which starred the perpetually mustached Tom Selleck.
Selleck played a detective with a Navy Seal background. And set to take his place in the movie version is?
Matthew McConaughey!
Entertainment Weekly is reporting that McConaughey was offered the role of Thomas Magnum.
McConagay is said to be reading the script from the movie's writer and director, Rowson Thurber, who also worked on Dodgeball.
Mateo should be deciding shortly if he will be confirming the role.
Would U go watch Magnum P.I. if McConaughey was in it?
We'd rather see Fletch, Jr.!

No. I would much prefer to see Tom Selleck reprise Magnum, looking exactly as he is now. Matthew is ripe for his own signature character, akin to Damon in Bourne or Craig in Bond.
I would definitely go see Magnum PI with Tom Selleck in it. If Matt's in it, it'll be a joke…his last few movies sucked.
you kidding me…there is only one guy who should play Magnum…thats Tom Selleck,he and the rest of the cast should be in this feature film….come on guys…making this film with out them …would be like making the first couple Star Track movies without Shatner, Nimoy and the rest of the crew….I have been a Magnum PI fan for years and have been waiting for a movie…hope they don't fowl this up……..
Damn. I wouldn't see anything with McConaughey, especially a Magnum movie. Magnum was the coolest. McC is just a girlie-man. Selleck needs to do it for it to be worth anything.
dumb idea! get him to do it
Magnum was cool. He was a beach dude yes. But he kept up on his personal hygiene…unlike Matt! Tom should be Magnum and Matt should find his own character.
