Is it cool to like him again???

On Tuesday night, Tom cruise attended an industry screening of Tropic Thunder from Paramount Pictures and DreamWorks.

In the film, he portrays a “bald, hairy-chested, foulmouthed, dirty-dancing movie mogul of the kind who is only too happy to throw an actor to the wolves when his popularity cools.”

He may have a little experience with that! Wink wink.

In a self-referential move, Cruise was mocking his 2006 dismissal by Viacom chairman Sumner Redstone from his Paramount production deal.

Tommy Boy's role was very well received at the screening. And the irony of him now being in a Paramount film was not lost on the audience.

Cruise needs for this to be a hit.

Y'all remember his last film, Lions for Lambs????

Yeah, FLOP!

    Tommy boy needs to play another role besides the cool, action hero with no sense of humor (snickering in irony is not the same thing).
