There actually IS a reason why lie detector tests are not allowed (in most states) in court… It's because they do not meet the Daubert/Frye criteria for evidence. Translation: They are hard to interpret, fairly easy to fake after given the proper training and NONE of them actually measures lying, only physical and emotional states!
