The U.K. government is determined to keep Snoop Dogg OUT of their country!
The guv is challenging a decision made by one of its asylum immigration tribunals in January, which granted Snoop clearance to enter the U.K. again.
Snoop was cautioned in 2006 on 'suspicion of affray' (suspicion that he's going to disturb the peace) after he was arrested at London's Heathrow Airport for acting up and later banned from entering the U.K.
The Brits seemed to be a little freaked by Snoop because he's been convicted of gun and drugs charges here in the US.
Who hasn't been convicted of gun and drug charges?????

No kidding. They shouldn't banish someone just because of prior convictions. Just kidding. It's an effort to keep bad people / influences out of their country.

Felons pay the price down the line, and particularly with border officials of commonwealth countries. I gather Australia won't let him in either. I'm not sure, but I don't think he's allowed into Canada. Snoop should clean up his act and get his record expunged. Gun laws in particular are strict in Commonwealth countries, and they mean business. Far more people are banned at the U.S. border for far more vague reasons since Georgy started his 'list'. Even Senator Kennedy couldn't hop on a plane easily just to fly within the U.S. on more than one occasion. Works both ways.

The US is putting all kinds of restrictions on crossing the border (even from Canada), and it's gotten to the point that if someone has a 20-year-old conviction for smoking dope the US border guards won't let you in, even if the person has gotten a pardon in Canada and is now a university grad and a doctor. Yes, that dope someone smoked when they were 18 makes them an axe murderer or terrorist now, I'm sure. Meanwhile, Americans expect to come into our country with all manner of criminal charges, behaviour, etc. Just look at the number of US entertainers and sports figures with the same type of crminal histories and it's a big case of the pot calling the kettle black.
