The Anti-Hero

Ellen Page is not your typical choice for a Teen Vogue cover, which is why we think it's fan-freakin'-tastic that the Juno star graces the cover of the mag's new issue.

Just by being herself, the Canadian actress is an inspiration to young girls (and boys) out there everywhere.

Ellen’s practical approach to fashion (she doesn't love dresses) makes her a bit of a maverick in glammed-up, fashionista-obsessed Hollywood. While she is willing to play the game — “I get that it’s part of my job,” she says — she does so in a way that keeps the attention squarely on her acting, not on what designer dress she is wearing on the red carpet. When asked about her attire, she says, “I’m a bum, really. This”— meaning, work— “is the only time I get dressed up.”

Dressing up is fun. Not dressing up is fun too. Life is all about having fun and doing whatever it is that's "fun" for you, bbs!

Oh, okay, Ellen, we get it. You're just a simple girl who prefers cars and indie music over makeup and typical bubblegum pop fare. I'm glad she's keeping her clothes on for now, but she tries way too hard to drive home the fact that she's 'just like you!'! Avril Lavigne tried that shtick a few yrs ago with her Dickies and ties.

Ok, shes obviously determined not to be sucked into the normal hollywood stereotype, which is great of course. But in all honestly how many stay like this?? Take a look at bloody Lily Allen. First we discover shes a proper posh bitch, then she ditches her 'individua;' trainers and 40s sun dress look, swapping it for pre- put together designer outfits, now shes blond? PLLEASE dont get like this Ellen!!

We are like twins in simple styling. I ALWAYS wear my blue sequined sweater on afternoon hikes.

She seems a little less gushy than most of the young Hollywood starlets. Nice.

Doesn't she look gorgeous? The sweater is perfect for her. She's so fresh faced. Ahh, to be young again…

What a rockin, down-to-earth, chick! I've been watching her roles since Trailer Park Boys and so far, she has been refreshingly original. I love that she speaks her mind and, like another Canadian talent Sarah Polley, she doesn't spend a whole lot of time wondering what other people are going to think about a role she plays or a story she becomes a part of. For any of you that think Juno was simply a story glorifying teenage pregnancy, 1st stop reading MacLeans, and 2nd maybe you should actually watch the movie! I can't wait to see what she does next and have high hopes for her!

did they photoshop her body? she is not that tall and in this cover her torso is freekishly long like a snake, too much.

… So therefore, she won`t even mind to read all this stuff we say about her. MAYBE her agent, but not her ¬¬

ELLEN PAGES AGENT! TELL HER SHE CAN KEEP ROCKING OUR WORLD EVEN TOUGH SHE STAYS IN THE CLOSET.

Oh wow did anyone else notice the comment.
"Be the Girl who goes to Paris!" on the top right,
seems like teen vogue is trying to make a statment about
LC and how she dint go, trying to make LC look bad. pfff we
      all saw it on mtv.

Re: Canada Sucks – quote: "I wish the US would just invade the losers to the North already. No style, no backbone, no culture, nothing. If you have so much talent up north, create your own "Hollywood". If India can fucking do it…"

I wish Canada wasn't so closely bordering the losers to the South. No class, no respect, a whole lot of wannabe singers/actors/stars whose combined talent doesn't amount to hardly anything, and a bunch of "celebrities" who do their country proud by fucking up their lives with drugs and rehab and other mindless attention-seeking activities because they're fucking bored and have too much money. I hope Hillary becomes your next president so she can fuck your country up even more.

thats exactly right that movie was great and by no means does it go…hmm I want to get pregnant and have a baby and have to give it up at the age of 16, if not it does do the exact opposite…
