According to reports, looks like Project Runway is saying bye bye Bravo, hello Lifetime!
Bravo, however, is not very happy about the way the changeover was handled.
The NBC-owned network filed a lawsuit late Monday against The Weinstein Company, owner of the successful reality series, because they felt like they weren't given a fair shot at keeping Runway.
They claim that the Weinstein Co. had already signed a deal with Lifetime while 'negotiating' with Bravo for two months. Seems a little shady! But, hey it is Hollywood. Lifetime was probs throwing them shit loads of money, too. Money always talks!!
We don't care who has the show. Just hope the damn lawsuit doesn't get in the way of y'all seeing the next season!

Noooo. Lifetime is a horrible horrible channel. What's their claim to fame. Made for TV movies about murderous women or abused women? It just won't be the same. But Hey what can we do? We're just a bunch of idiots watching their television show making them millions and millions of dollars with no opinion whatsoever. Who are we to say anything about it? I mean its not like we can make them change their minds about the decision. Who has heard of the public making these TV Moguls make the right choice? Who?
BAD MOVE!!! Bravo is much edgier and not so old fashioned like Lifetime is. I am sick of the show in a way though because i really dont think that the most talented always wins and it is usually who has the kookiest personality that does and it is getting old fast!
Why does the show have to leave Bravo in the first place? I love Bravo. It's basically my favorite channel. I hope the show isn't ruined because it's on Lifetime, but Lifetime isn't as well known as Bravo for the age group Project Runway attracts. This kinda sucks…
Lots more people get Lifetime, but is it really a very hip place to be seen? The coolest thing they had was the Golden Girls and um…they're leaving. Everything else is pretty craptastical.
They kept re-running the 'denim episode' soo many times, I was sick of seeing it, I'd come across it & change the channel. So they're moving to Lifetime now? Do they even have an audience for the next 5 years? Strange that the Weinstein Bros. are changing channels.

I worked at the Project Runways Castings this past weekend in New York. I wonder if this means the contestants that waited in line to try out waisted their time? All the forms said Bravo and the production staff helping to decide who makes it to the next level were from bravo. This is very weird! What a waste of time and money for Bravo to do this the day they finish the casting calls.
I will not watch lifetime ever, EVEN for project runway.

Project Runway is quite possibly the BEST program on TV (next to Medium and the Office, of course), and quite frankly, I could not care less if it were on Bravo or on NBC. The part that I DO care about is that I hope whichever channel has it that the show will maintain its quality. It is shot well, edited well, and most importantly, does the thing that most reality tv can not and does not do - show people actually doing something amazing. The designers who the show features are the most artisitic, talented people on tv. No BS- they draw, choose fabrics, sew, tailor, and are all very inspired by their own inner muses as well as external factors like New York City, where the show is shot; the models, who play a minor role, thank god; and whatever schooling or vocation they have in addition to their own craft. I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS SHOW. PLEASE LET IT GO ON FOREVER. Sincerely, M. Nelson

This can not be good for Project Runway. Lifetime will so fuck it up. Bravo was perfect for Runway, the network is refreshing and always ahead of the curve. Lifetime will just turn the show into a personality contest and lose the quality of design that the contestants had to offer. Not happy about this.

You'd better care who carries the show. Bravo is VERY gay friendly and Lifetime is anything but gay friendly. And I guarantee you that you will NEVER see a series like this year's on Lifetime. What you'll get is a bunch of closet cases or GOD FORBID—STRAIGHT GUYS!!!!

I know they kinda overkill them, but I love sitting down on a day off and watching some reruns of this show…I can't imagine Lifetime taking off a crappy tv movie starring some 80's drama mom for a Wrestling outfit challenge. I'm pretty damn dissapointed with this news.

What the hell?!? Who the hell watches Lifetime over Bravo? Bravo has great branding and graphic design, it is an exciting channel to watch. Lifetime seems to be a channel for middle aged women, and from what I know, more than just middle aged women watch. I feel that this may be the downfall of the show. Good work.
Lifetime isn't that bad. They have ARMY WIVES which is a great show, I think they are trying to appeal a little more to the younger crowd.
My cable company does not offer Bravo…so I am super excited about the move to Lifetime!
