I dont get it, he said that he wanted to become a man because he didn't feel like he should've been born a woman, but then again he said he wanted to keep his female organs because he knew one day he wanted to be pregnant. (On Oprah) How can this be either you want to be a man to be a man (no man wants to ever become pregnant) or you need to stay a lesbian so one day you can have children…..To me he is a man and by law he became a man or else him and his wife would never have been able to get married. If GOD would've wanted men to have children themselves he would of made it happen that way apparently he didn't or else every mother in America and the world let her husband carry the child.

Perez you should be embarrassed by the close minded fans you have posting this morning. The comments this has gotten so far should show you how stupid and hateful some of your fans are. I just hope the people who are commenting on this don't reproduce. I can't get over how freaked out people are about two loving parents having a child. I wish them all the luck in the world because it seems to have a lot of awful people in it they will have to face. I personally feel that TRACY is confused, not once in the Oprah interview did she say, "I always knew I was a man trapped in a womans body" She turned lesbian after a boyfriend told her sha was rough like a man. The pregnant man was born a woman but feels that he is actually a man in a woman's body. Be it a medical or mental health issue, he has the right to be a man and live as a man. And as a man, he wanted to parent with his partner. He has a uterus, his partner does not. They appear to be a healthy, happy couple very capable of parenting a healthy, happy child. What's the big deal?
Their child has a better chance of growing up healthy than many, many "standard" male-female couples.
This kid has a better chance of finishing school and leading a productive life than Britney's kids- and she was a married hetero when she conceived!!

The reason that he is pregnant is because his wife could not have a child. She had one from a previous marriage/relationship, but now cannot have a child due to reproductive issues. That was their only option, and they wanted to have a child. They were pregnant before, but suffered a miscarriage. But this time their pregnancy is going just fine. I watched most of the clips from that show and was very intrigued.

This story drives me nuts! This isn't some medical miracle where a human with testes and sperm somehow got pregnant. This is a human with a uterus and ovaries….not that unique. I am not bothered by this, nor do I find it interesting or newsworthy. My only hope is that the child is raised without a bunch of confusing drama and unnecessary information.
You know, I'm getting a little tired of this "pregnant man" crap. No. She is not a man. She is a woman, living as a man. I'm all for the right of people to live as they want, if they need to change their gender to do so, then fine, do it. But don't do it half-assed and then say you're something you're not. this is a legitimate loving couple who want to have kids. his wife could not bear children any longer, so the husband stepped up b/c he could. what greater love could one have for their spouse? knowing the controversy that would most likely follow? these people HAD to come forward to keep gossip and ignorant witch hunters at bay. my thoughts and prayers are with this family that they may fade into a normal life and enjoy it with their new baby in good health.

It shouldn't matter what "gender" a person claims. If they are happy, healthy and have a good support system I don't see the problem in having a baby as a "man". I applaud him for coming out with his story. He's not trying to offend anyone. I think that even if he hadn't come out with the story on TV he would have been hounded by the press. So kudos to him for doing it on his own terms!
