Uh oh, like we predicted, Rosie O'Donnell is MAD!
A recent cover story in The Globe just ran a story with the headline "Raging Rosie Bullies Her Boy."
The magazine photos of O'Donnell in what appeared to be an argument with her son Parker, in late March.
The article went on to describe Rosie as abusive and stated she manhandled her 12 year old son.
The article also claimed that Rosie was probably subjecting her other three children to emotional damage by verbally abusing her son in front of them.
Rosie's publicist, however, is firing back. She says, "The story is absolutely ludicrous and ridiculous. There is no truth to it whatsoever."
Not only is it ludicrous, but it's ridiculous too!
O'Donnell's publicist didn't say if Rosie would be taking this matter to court, but we think she might!
Her rep did mention that Rosie has done a lot of work for children. In 1997, she started the Rosie's For All Kids Foundation, which up to date has awarded over $22 million in grants to over 1,400 child-related organizations.
Rosie has spent the past few years promoting positive family values through her R Family Cruises.
Her publicist also added, "I would put The Globe at the bottom of the bird cage."
The Globe will likely issue a retraction, and then next week they'll say that she's having a lesbian love affair with an alien.
That'd be hot!

The Globe is desperate. Sales of the tabs are down because their news is old since people can get it online days sooner. So they're resorting to these sensationalistic and stupid headlines to try and gain more readers. It won't work and all they'll get is a whopping lawsuit from Rosie. I agree with what #8 - Jennifer said. It was recently shown by research that a lot of comedians use comedy as a way to cope with unhappiness, depression, and abused childhoods. Rosie is one such person, and no matter how many children she has or how much she does for children, she still has a lot of personal issues and how can people forget all the jokes and teasing she does about her children. Children cannot tell the difference between jokes and honesty, so to have your mum going around saying things about you on television cannot bode well for a healthy and positive relationship when the child is in their early teens like Parker. She's whacked, I tell you. Rosie is whacked and she can't face the truth she's whacked so she takes it out on her children verbally which is just as bad as physical abuse.

I am not saying the article is true, bcz we don't know the circumstances. BUT: Just because Rosie "does a lot for kids" is no reason to claim she could not be an abuser. She still could be abusive. Sometimes parents do not realize they are being abusive. They think it is "tough love." And it could very well be emotional abuse, because everyone knows Rosie has a temper and a big mouth on her, and that can be pretty frightening to a little kid. I am not saying The Globe is right but they might not be wrong either.

I think we should look at Rosie's general behaviour, which is aggressive and nutty, basically, under which circumstances these accusations make more sense.

I saw her at the mall will all four one time and she had the patience of Job with them. The kids were looking for sneakers and enjoying their trip.
Re: Hannah – Hannah, the state of Florida does not allow gay couples to adopt a child. They allowed the little girl to stay with Rosie as a foster parent and when they wanted to adopt her, the STATE of FLORIDA said no. Rosie's very dear friends (a married straight couple) adopted the child and she visits Rosie and her children so the love is still there and the little girl is happy and well adjusted. Hannah, get your facts straight before typing.

I wouldn't doubt that this boy might be acting out - at his age, his parents and their living situation might be an issue that he gets a lot of ridicule and taunts about at school, the peer pressure might be turned on plus, despite Rosie's absolute "love" of children, no one can make u lose it better than your own kids when they get to this stage!!!
I live near her andfor years ppl have been saying they see her at the palisades mall in rockland county being mean to her kids in Target….. this is for about a decade now. apparnelty in person she is a bit rough around the edges and doesnt care who hears her being mean to her kiddies. i sitll like her though
A couple of things are shocking about the story.
First - A Mom is interacting and spending time with her son. Do most parents even do that anymore? No. Kids are sitting behind an X-Box, interacting only with a computer screen.
Second: That anyone would suggest that a Mom physically pulling on her teenagers arm while they are walking together is child abuse. Ridiculous.
Real child abuse is out there but this isn't it. What's strange is that Rosie's son isn't screaming 'you've ruined my life' and that Rosie isn't frothing at the mouth out of frustration. Now that would be a true picture of 'parenting 101' during the teenage years.

From the pictures I saw, grabbing your kid by the arm is not abusive. The little bastard probably wasn't listening to her and she was disciplining him. I HATE HOW BAD KIDS TODAY ARE. MOMMY AND DADDY DONT SPANK THEM AND THEY TURN OUT LIKE SPOILED LITTLE BRATS WHO DONT APPRECIATE ANYTHING. Even if you dont believe in spanking, there are other ways to discipline your kids- letting them do whatever they want is not how you raise them. Nobody gets everything they want, and kids who aren't taught that are going to grow up to be VERY disappointed.
