The new issue of the always reputable The Globe is alleging that Rosie O'Donnell is a child abuser.
From everything we know, this couldn't be further from the truth.
Rosie loves children and has been a big champion of kids' causes.
To even insinuate anything else is insulting and potentially illegal!

While I've not read the article and can't really give my opinion, I will say this:
Judging only by the photo on the cover, (and growing up the eldest daughter with three head-strong brothers) my mother has been in THAT situation a THOUSAND TIMES.
At that age, they can get a little crazy.

Last time I checked, grabbing your kid by the arm is HARDLY abuse or bullying, esp. since 12 year old boys tend to be, well, 12 year old boys.

Okay, so the photo doesn't really say anything, but Rosie is very unstable and seems to have a bi polar disorder, so truthfully, it wouldn't surprise me. She might not even realize she is doing it. At the very least, Rosie has been mentally abusing her son, Parker, for years.
Any time she talked about him on her TV talk show or when she was on The View, she would always imitate him and tease him. Oh, this was all done under the guise of telling amusing family anecdotes. But just imagine the kid's point of view seeing this on TV: Mom imitating his voice, his mannerisms, his words, his behaviour…and then thousands of people laughing and snickering.
Children do not have either the mental or emotional maturity to be able to process "teasing". So when a parent teases them — even once — the damage can be life-altering. Rosie did this time and time and time again.
Forget, for the moment, about the fact that she should have kept her relationship with her son private and not broadcast it for millions to see. But to, on top of that, use her bully pulpit to put down, ridicule, tease, and imitate her son is, simply, unforgivable.
I doubt if Parker would ever give his permission to be ridiculed like this. What Rosie did was akin to mental torture.
If the son is acting out now, it is completely understandable. Rosie is a bully and the kid is rebelling against the abuse she has directed towards him probably from the days he could crawl.
