    All I can say to those musically ignorant enough to say things like "dyke" and "lesbian" as an insult to Melanie's music. Go and see her live. If you come away not liking her music, fair beat. But I promise you, it will change your opinion of her.

    And if it doesn't…. Then at least you can base your insults on an opinion based on your own conclusions rather than ones dictated by the red tops of the London press.

    What have you got to lose? The woman rocks. Give her live show a chance!!
