I'm a 20 year listener and I love Artie but what he did today was way over the line, and its not the first time he has exploded like this. If he really did resign, then fine. Good riddance. Too bad he chose to fuck up; he had the best job in the universe and he blew it.

Artie is done unfortunately… I'm so bummed because he is one of my favorite elements on the show up until the last few weeks since he's been more on edge and spiteful lately. Artie will be let go and shortly after, his career will go down the drain and he will either die due to an overdose/overeating or will kill himself for being such a douche.

I love Arite, I am so conflicted over this. I love Artie, but Howard is right in saying he can't have his employees fearing coming to work… You could hear that Artie was very emotional after the fact, telling Howard he loved him, but that he couldn't say what Howard wanted to hear… I do sincerely hope they work it out. I was listening when it happened and it was kinda scary hearing it all. This has happened before and will happen again. He's on a very shaky path and needs to get some help. I think Howard should require that he gets some help to retain his job else he's gone! I don't think he really quit though.

Obviously, Artie is crying out for an intervention and I believe Howard will do what he can to get him help. There is no doubt that Artie is loved by Howard and I can't imagine the show without him. He is SO much more real than Jackie ever was!
