The presidential hopefuls are coming!

The pre-taped pieces Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and John McCain put together promoting charity didn't make the cut for Wednesday's big Idol Gives Back show.

But, according to reports, you'll get to see some of what they have to say within tonight's Idol results show.

The source asserts that Idol producers probably thought that the candidates didn’t have the same 'cachet' as a Reese Witherspoon or Brad Pitt. Plus, they were pressed for time and the candidates got the cut!

Let's see what they have to say tonight….and who says it the best!

    Perez, I was there at the taping… Hilary's was first and there was mediocre applause, then McCain and people were booing during it, and Obama closed it with overwhelming applause.

    I heard on the radio this morning that McCain's taping messed up and they didn't think it would be fair to air the other two candidates and not his. Don't know if that's true or not, but just what I heard.
