We usually HATE it when actors try to be musicians. They're rarely able to do it well.

Thankfully, Taryn Manning is an exception!

We've always had a soft spot for her band, Boomkat, and now they're finally back with NEW material.

Runaway is their first single and it's a bit creepy watching the video because Taryn looks so much like Lindsay Lohan in it, but the song actually would be perfect for L.L.'s upcoming album.

It's smart, sophisticated pop with a bit of a "chill-out" vibe. And, it sounds a bit autobiographical too.
